Chapter 5-Trust

Liam's POV

ugh. 7th period. I don't have the rest of my classes with Lex. It's been 4 days since I asked her to be mine. I'm so happy my dream has finally come true.

" Hey bro!" Ugh. Devon... " Oh...hey ."

" I gotta ask you something." " What do you want Devon." What could he want? Wait...is he...is he high ??

" When you're done screwing around with that little bitch Alexa will you let me have her? I haven't had anyone in a while. "

What. The. Hell!!? Okay he's definitely high. He smells like pot.

" Hell no bro! Alexa is mine and we are not breaking up anytime soon. Oh by the way, are you high? I better call mom..." Next thing I know my head is against the locker.

" NO! YOU WILL NOT TELL MOM DO YOU UNDERSTAND ME??" Images of my dad clutter my mind. I do not like these images... " o-o...okay. I-I won't tell m-mom." My head aches and I fall to the floor.

" Oh my god! Liam!" Britney, Lauryn and their boyfriends Harry and Niall come rushing toward me.

" We have to take you to the nurse dude. Your head is bleeding." Niall says. " I'll text Alexa and tell her to go to the nurses office." Said Lauryn.

Alexa's POV

" Oh my god Liam that's horrible! Are you sure you're okay babe?" I said to him. I can't believe that happened! " Yeah haha I'm fine. Don't worry about me. I missed Math though how did you do on your test? You got them back right??" He's so caring and supportive! Liam is the best boyfriend. " Yes! I got a 95%! Thanks to your tutoring of course." I said with a wink. Everyone at the table laughed. " Hey can we join you?" Dariana asked with her boyfriend Zayn next to her." Of course! Sit!"

I got a text from Liam right when I started homework. It said: Meet me at the park.xx

" Hey babe" I kissed Liam's cheek. " What's up!"

" So listen...nothing's wrong at all but I just want to say I want our relationship to have trust okay?" I swallowed hard thinking about my father. " Okay. I agree" Or do I ?

" So I wanted to talk about my father." What? Him too? I breathed a sigh of relief. " Alright go ahead"

" My father passed away 2 years ago. He was murdered. Long story short, my father drank and did drugs and was part of a very dangerous gang. He was killed because he didn't pay back the gang's leader enough money at the end of the month..."

He looked down at his shoes and I lifted his chin up and pecked his lips. He smiled a bit.

" I don't have a dad either Liam...he left about 6 months ago. We were a perfect family. Me, my mom and dad, and my brother Louis. And one morning...my dad and brother were gone just like that. They never call or write... We gave up hope searching and hoped for the best of them. It's hard especially when my mom works and works and works soo much. I long to see my brother and father. But I know it's -" I break down in tears. Liam holds me with his strong arms and he whispers ' it's okay baby.' as I drift asleep in his arms.....
