A tiny tulip blooms in the light

Me and a friend touch it's soft petals

"Be careful," she says in her caring voice

I heed her warning and take a step back

I would share her name but she is shy

and it may put a tie

in our friendship made for Gods.

There are some relationships that are frauds,

we do not do things like that

we are like a mat under the door

whipping off the mud from shoes.

Whipping their sheets clean.

A tiny tulip blooms in the light

Me and my friend touch it's soft petals

"Be careful," she says in her caring voice.

I will always cherish her kind words and they will always make me smile in the end.
