Undercover

Chapter 1

"Team meeting in 5." Director Fury yelled from his office. 

As they walked into the conference room they see Fury standing with a red head with glasses on with her long red hair pulled back into ponytail with a white fitted long sleeve shirt on and a pair of black dress pants and he said "Good you are all here. I would like for you all to meet our newest undercover cop as well as profiler for our team this is Isabella Jones. Isabella this is Natasha Romanoff Wanda Maximoff Carol Danvers Hope Lange Clint Barton Steve Rogers Scott Lange Sam Wilson and Bucky Barnes." 

"Hi Everybody." She said 

"Barnes she's going to be your partner since you don't have one." Fury said 

"Great." Bucky said 

"Show her where her desk is Barnes and show her around." Fury said 

"Yes sir." Bucky said 

They all left the conference room and Bucky showed her around and showed her that her desk was right across from his. A few hours into being there she went to lunch and ate her lunch she could already tell that this team was close and some of them were together which made her feel a little uncomfortable considering she didn't know them at all she attended college at Yale and then did the academy. 

She left the break room early and went back to her desk and Bucky seen her leave and came out and said "You weren't that hungry?'

"Not really why?' she said 

"Because you left the break room and you didn't seem like you were that interested in your food or having conversation with us." he said

"Oh well considering today is the first day I've actually met you all and you all were talking about high school it's kinda hard to join in." she said 

He sighed and said "ok well then where did you go to high school." he said 

"In Manhattan." she said 

"So spoiled brat..let me guess daddy paid for a private college like Yale or Harvard." he said 

She bit her lip and looked down and he said "Yeah..you give off that private school vibe darlin." he said

She rolled her eyes and said "Don't call be pet names my name is Isabella or Bella those are the only two names I'll answer too. I"m not a spoiled brat." 

"Oh yes you are sweetheart." he said as he walked off 

"Isabella." she said 

He laughed as he shook his head as he walked back to the break room. By the end of the day she wouldn't speak to Bucky at all cause everytime she tried he wanted to call her by the pet names. She could already tell that this partnership wasn't going to work out for them. 

The next morning she walked in with her hair down and curly and contacts with her coffee in her hand and sat down and started to read over the case file on her desk. "Morning doll." he said as he realized she sat down at her desk. 

She kept reading the file and he came over to her desk and took the file out of her hand and said "I said morning doll." 

"I told you I don't answer to those names." she said 

"Morning Bella is that better for you princess?' he said 

She rolled her eyes and said "Can I have that back please?'

He opened and started to read it and said "I need a profile for it before we go out this is ours." as he hands it back to her. 

"I can't give you one if I can't read it Barnes." she said as she took it back. 

She started to read it over it and make notes on her notepad. Bucky was still leaned against her desk. She finished up her profile for the suspect they were suppose to be looking for so they knew how to approach the case and she said "here' as she ripped her notebook paper out and he read over it. She got in her drawer and put her holster on and put her gun in it and he said "Let's go then." 

By the time it started to get dark she sighed and he said "Are late for a date or something?'

"no." she said 

"OK then what's with the sigh." he said 

"I'm bored.." she said

"Well stake outs are suppose to be fun doll face." he said with a smirk. 

"I hate you." she said

"What the hell is with you that you hate the pet names." he said 

"Shut up." she said when she saw movement from the area they had been watching all day. 

"Your up." he said 

She bit her lip and got out of the car and said "Hey are you Dale that I spoke with earlier?'

"Are you Julie?' the suspect said

"Yup that's me." she said as she had her cash.

He hands her the drugs and then said "So um about that other thing we talked about on the phone about getting my rocks off is that going to happen?'

"If that's what you want." she said

"Do you mind if I cut you?' he said 

Bucky knew that's all he needed to hear so he got out very quietly and then said "Freeze" as he walked over to him with his gun up. When Dale turned to look at Isabella she had hers up and he said "You bitch you set me up." 

"Oh Im sorry. Did you really think I was going to go for that." she said 

Bucky arrested him and they took him to book him at the station. "Thanks guys." the chief said 

"Welcome" Bucky said 

He got back in the car and he said "You don't have to be a smart ass to them." 

"You don't get to tell me what to do." she said 

They got back to the FBI building and she got up to her desk and got her keys to her car and her purse and left. Bucky caught up to her at her car and said "I wasn't telling you what to do I was just saying that you don't have to be a smart ass." 

"I'll do what I want Barnes." she said as she got into her car and drove off. He groaned and said "God she gets on my nerves.' as he got on his bike and headed to the apartment that he shares with Nat and Steve.

He walked in and slammed the door and threw his helmet down and Nat said "Geez we don't own this place Buck."

"Sorry that girl just gets on my damn nerves." he said as he grabbed a beer out of the fridge. 

Steve said "Cause she doesn't like when you call her pet names and makes it known." 

"No..not just that. She was just a smart ass to the suspect we picked up and she complained the whole entire time we were doing the stake out and when I told her she doesn't need to be smart ass to them she was all I'll do what I want." he said 

Steve started laughing and said "Nat does that to me all the time I think it's something to do with red heads cause Wanda has days where she says those things to Clint." 

Bucky went into his room and slammed the door and got in the shower.
