SUMMARY: Ricochet wins the North American Championship in Brooklyn and the two of you celebrate backstage. SMUT.

WORD COUNT: 2,370

I stood in the front row of the Barclays Center in the heart of Brooklyn with my hands over my mouth as I watched my boyfriend of a year wrestling in one of the most important matches of his career.

Trevor had just done a picture perfect moonsault off the middle rope only to be hit with a perfectly timed superkick by Adam Cole as he came down towards the mat. I cringed as I watched Trevor's head bounce off the ring canvas.

My eyes locked on Trevor watching on intently as he laid on the mat trying to shake it off and get back to his feet before Adam did. My heart started to race as I watched Adam climb to his feet first. His eyes were locked on the back of Trevor, and I could only imagine what he was planning next.

"Come on Ricochet!" I called out, hoping he would somehow be able to hear me over the sixteen thousand other people that were in the Barclays Center. Hoping that my voice would somehow give him a second win and help him find the energy to win the match.

Trevor sat up on his knees regaining his breath. Adam delivered a running knee from the ropes, but Trevor was a second quicker. He dodged the kick and quickly pulled Adam into a roll up.

"Yes! Yes!" I screamed at the top of my lungs as I watched the referee's hand come down for the one count. I groaned as I watched Adam kick out just before the referee's hand came down a second time.

Adam and Trevor both stood up in the middle of the ring taking turns delivering shot after shot at each other. Their fists soon turned to kicks as they delivered kick after kick to each other. Everyone in the arena was on the edge of their feet as they watched the match unfold.

Adam delivered a superkick square on Trevor's jaw, but it didn't seem to phase him because he quickly countered with a spinning kick of his own straight to the side of Adam's face.

Both men fell to the mat, and Adam happened to land on top of Trevor.

"Get up Trevor!" I called out as I saw the referee get into position. I let out a sigh of relief when Trevor kicked out after a two count.

Adam rolled over to the corner to pull himself to his feet with the help of the ropes. Meanwhile, Trevor was in the middle of the ring on his knees. He was looking around, and I could tell by the slightly glazed look in his eye that he wasn't sure where he was in that moment. He was still dazed from the kick he took a few seconds earlier.

Adam ran towards Trevor, planning on delivering a running knee to the back of Trevor's head. But Trevor sensed it and ducked to miss the kick.

Trevor immediately jumped up and wrapped his feet around Adam's neck, driving Adam back down to the match.

"Come on Ricochet!" I yelled as I watched Trevor roll under the bottom rope and pull himself to his feet using the ropes and turnbuckle.

I felt my heart pounding in my chest as Trevor tiredly made his way to the top rope. This could either earn him or cost him the championship he wanted so badly. Trevor got into position on top of the ropes, but Adam was quick and rolled to the other side of the ring so Trevor wouldn't be able to land his signature move.

Trevor jumped down from the top rope and stared across the ring at his opponent. I could see he was planning his next move; I just wasn't quite sure what it would be.

My breath caught in my throat as I watched Trevor run across the ring, jump over the top rope, lock his legs around Adam's neck and deliver a leaping hurricanrana from the ring apron to the floor below. Trevor didn't miss a beat as he picked Adam up and threw him into the ring.
