I was about to grab another cup of coffee when my personal phone rang. Not many people had that number, so I looked at it immediately. It was King T'Challa, from Wakanda. I had been expecting this call for a while, so I answered it.
"Fury."
"Director," he said, with that rich African accent. "Our efforts were unsuccessful. If you have another plan to help us, I'd like to hear it."
I grinned, and opened up my eagle eye view of Queens on my laptop. "It's a little tricky, but I think it'll do." I explained the just of it to him, while zooming in on a particular man who was currently taking photos of some groomsmen.
"We can't legally send a SHIELD agent to you without alerting the government, and that would blow the investigation about your missing vibranium. If you send an invite, though, to Parker directly, without our interference, that's fine. He can come and 'visit'."
"Wouldn't you technically still be interfering?"
"Work with me here, your Majesty." He chuckled over the phone.
"Are you sure this will work?" T'Challa asked. "I don't want to put any of your people in danger. Not when it doesn't involve them."
"I think Mr. Parker can handle himself," I told him. "Besides, if even half of what Stark says about him is true, he'll get along great with your sister."
