song: dusk till dawn by zayn and sia

The cars come to a halt, we have the place surrounded. Over a hundred of our men begin to flee the cars and shoot like wildfire, knocking down nearly every man out front. Once the coast is clear, Gabe and I along with a few others pile into the single story storage facility. People run around and some shoot, which Gabe and I fire back.

"On your left!" Gabe shouts and I turn knocking out three men. We move further in, more of our men flowing in.

The fight continues and I reload my gun and take out more people. Fallaci was right, they are like roaches. I laugh to myself as I feel myself become lighter and lighter, making all of these bastards pay for the pain they caused me. I will never see my baby again. She deserved the world. She was kind, beautiful, selfless, and funny. I grit my teeth and continue making perfect shots, making my way into a room, hoping to find the leader and kill him with my bare hands.

I turn around to find two younger men who raise their hands up in the air. "Don't shoot!" They claim and I keep my gun raised.

"Give me a good reason why I shouldn't." I sternly say.

"We are prisoners." They say and I lower my gun, confused.

"Are there more?" I ask, my heart pounding. They look at each other and motion for me to follow them. They take me around the corner and through a few more doors before I see cells in the distance, they catch me off guard and whip out guns, pointing them at me.

Without a single hesitating I pull mine up and take them both out in the head, however I feel a sharp pain in my right shoulder. I grunt and fall to the floor. I look down and see another bullet went through my thigh. I lay on my back and take short, heavy gasps. My hands shake as I grab my walkie talkie and call for help, the connection was pretty bad so I couldn't even hear their response.

I try to cover my wounds with my ripped clothing, but the blood was seeping out much quicker than I thought. I close my eyes and take deep breaths. I feel hands on my face and then my arms, causing my eyes to flicker open.

I squint and see her. She has a smile on her face, her brown locks flowing behind her. I manage to smile, lifting my arm up onto her cheek. She kisses my hand and I feel tears slowly rolling down my cheeks.

"I missed you." I mutter, coughing afterwards. She holds my face and I begin to see black spots in my vision.

"I love you." Her voice soothes me, just as I remember. I want to hold her and never let go. My vision goes all black and I hear shouts before I go into a state of nothing.

All black but her figure is ingrained in my head forever.
