The vending machine made a noise as the chocolate bar dropped and my tired ass bent down to take it out of the machine.
"Where the hell is it?" I groaned as I searched for it blindly.
"Miley?"
I frustratingly looked to where the voice had come from.
"Christian." I replied.
"Need some help?"
"What do you think?" I banged on the machine, hoping it'd get the bar of chocolate out.
He bent down beside me to try help, "We need to talk."
"Go ahead. I'm listening." I honestly sounded so pms.
"Ok, well Miley I'm having some problems with Alexa."
"What kind of problems?"
He stopped searching for the chocolate and looked straight into my eyes.
"I think I love you." He said.
"Ow." I hit my head on the vending machine as I heard his words.
I quickly stood up and cupped my head with my hand where it'd been pumped.
"You what?" I asked.
"I think I like you, not her."
"Bruh." I laughed.
He looked at me confused.
"And you think I'm gonna get involved with the person my best friend loves?" I looked at him with a smirk on my face.
"Look Miley, just think about it. I'll give you some time." He stood up now too.
"I've had enough time to think, thank you. The answer is fuck off."
He laughed at me now.
"It's up to you to not hurt her heart. Do what you want, either way we will never be anything than friends." I walked away.
As I walked up to the door of Alexa's room I stopped before entering.
Someone else was sitting beside her bed, they both had a smile on their face as they talked happily together.
The tall boy with dark brown hair made her smile and that's what she needed.
I walked away with a proud smile on my face.*
My phone rang as I lay on my bed watching Riverdale on my laptop.
The room was dark and the only thing that was lit was my screen.I was covered in a big hoodie and a fluffy grey blanket.
I picked up my phone to see who had to be so important to me that they just had to call at 2am.
It was Jacob...
I picked it up, "Hey."
"Hey Miley."
"How are you?"
"I'm good now that we're talking."
I smiled when I heard his voice.
"You feel like talking?" He asked.
"Always." I replied.
I could almost hear him smile through the phone..
We were talking for a few minutes and before I knew it, he was telling me about his mom and how she'd passed away.
It got emotional really fast.
"I'll always love her, even though she did those horrible things." He spoke.
I felt terrible listening to his stories.
