I woke up to the feel of feather-like kisses on my face. Those familiar lips exploring and sending shivers all over me. I smiled when the kiss lingered on my lips, his tongue teasing its way inside. He must've felt the smile since I heard him chuckle.

"Wake up, sleepyhead." he said.

And why wouldn't I open my eyes when the sight before me is too beautiful to miss? He was there beside me, kneeling by the bed and smiling down at me. Oh! If I could wake up to such sight everyday, then I can die happy!

"You're too beautiful for your own good, Erin. It's like I don't want to let you go home for fear of someone seeing you," he said in a husky voice.

I linked my arms around his neck bringing him closer to me.

"You don't have to worry about me, babe. I can take care of myself around boys."

He stared at me with a serious face, no hint of a smile. Then all of a sudden, he crushed his lips to mine. It was fierce as if he was trying to prove something.

"I know what a badass you are, babe. What I don't want are eyes, that aren't mine, looking at you. As I've said, you're mine. Mine alone."

How does he do it?! I thought to myself as I hugged him close. How can he make my heart go fluttering every time he opens that sexy mouth? He says the right words all the time! How does he find them? God! I just want to take him home and keep him there with me forever.

Speaking of homes, I wandered my eyes around the room we were in. It was a very spacious room with a dark theme. It obviously shows that a guy owns it.

"Come on, let's eat. I cooked us some breakfast," he said and gathered me into his arms.

My eyes widened, "Wait! What are you doing? I can walk you know,"

He smirked before lifting me up effortlessly. I had no choice but to wrap my arms around his neck.

"You don't have to pretend, Erin. I know you're sore from our 'activity' last night. This is the least I could do for you," he said and started to walk out the door.

Who was I to complain? And what normal girl wouldn't want to be carried by a strong handsome man? Not everybody is given the opportunity.

As he continued walking, I couldn't help but notice the interior of the place. Anyone seeing it would definitely be slack-jawed. I come from a well to do family so I am very much familiar with wealth. But this was way beyond wealthy. This was like being part of royalty. Yeah, you could just imagine the whole place. This isn't just a house. It's not even a mansion. This was a friggin' castle!

He must've felt my awe because he asked, "What's wrong?"

I turned my awestruck gaze to him, "Are you some kind of a prince? Where the heck did you take me?" I asked and looked around the whole place again.

He turned to one corner. It obviously was the dining room as there were heaps of food on top of the table prepared. The room even had a beautiful crystal chandelier. The ceiling was a mile high. The curtains looked so expensive you wouldn't want touch it in fear of damaging it.

Bryce set me down and offered a seat. I was still looking around staring at everything my gaze landed to in awe.

"This really wasn't what I expected, Bryce. I mean, I knew you were rich from the get go since you're able to go to law school but not this rich!"

"Does wealth matter to you, Erin?"

I tore my gaze off the intricately designed crystal chandelier and turned it to him. He was looking intently at me, his face grim without a hint of a smile.

"Why do you say that?"

"Well, ever since we left my room, it's all you've noticed,"

It's all I've noticed? My god!

"Who in their right mind wouldn't oggle at such kind of wealth!?" I exclaimed but then a thought crossed my mind, "What are you trying to insinuate with your question?"

He only shrugged and didn't say a word.

"I can't believe this! After everything that's happened between us, you could afford to think that I'm that kind of woman? I have no interest in that, in fact, I even have lots of it too!"

He stared at me for a few seconds. My blood was starting to boil inside! I was reeling with satisfaction when I woke up and seething with rage the next! Wow!

Then he suddenly smiled and walked up to me. I was still standing beside the seat he had offered me. He grabbed me by the waist and pulled me close.

"I hate women who only looks at me like I'm some kind of money bank to them." He said with a smirk. That slow boiling blood has now risen up my head. I could feel myself fuming and was about to burst out when his next words felt like cold water being poured on me and killing the flame at the same time.

"But if it's you, I don't care if you waste away all my richess. I'd do anything to possess you, to own you, to make you mine. Even if it means buying you," he said all that whilst staring into my eyes.

I couldn't move. My brain seemed to cease functioning for a moment. I wasn't able to comprehend what he was saying immediately. Should I be happy? Or should I be insulted?

But one thing's for sure though. I am now positive that he really does WANT me.
