"Oh my god! I love your books so much" The 45th girl says before I tell her thank you sighing her book. I've been here for about 4 hours signing every person in the longest line I've ever seen holding my books that I published throughout my entire life. I would say being famous had its perks but right now this was one of its stressful downfalls. "Alright after the next 12 people we will be shutting down and coming back tomorrow in this same spot to take only 56 people!" Will my assistant hollers out to the extra people that were in line to get their book signed. A few groans went out as the extra people begin to leave. I was thankful to have will as my assistant because without him I would think it would've been way worse than it is now. Finally signing the last book I lay back taking one big sigh of relief. "That was the longest 6 hours i have ever been through" I explain. "Oh you will get use to it I promise, it will get better" he says. Locking up the building he hands me my lunch before I opened it thanking him. "I don't know what I would do without you".
"Be famous and probably loose your damn mind, or even worse lock yourself in your damn condo" he teases. "You know I can't even get mad at that, I really think I would do something like that" I agree.
"I know that's why I said it" he chuckles. "I just can't believe my last book went that big". "Believe it because you are one hell of a writer Ms. Struck". I wanted to believe it I really did but half of the time I barely wanted to believe in myself. Most of my books I just jotted down out of clear space, silence and free time and somehow it skied through the roof with over 1billion reads in the first few months. It was insane how I couldn't even walk home no more after that. I had to hire my own body guards to make sure no one would try to climb into my home just to get a autograph with me. It was that crazy! "Hey have you heard back from your doctor?" He ask snapping me out of my past flashbacks. "Uhmm.. no but I'm sure he will by the end of the week".
"I never got to ask you why do you want to be a mother so bad?". I knew he wasn't trying to be mean it was a common question everyone asked everyday. "Well to be honest with you will I've been wanting to be a mother since the day I turned 14, I watched how my mother took care of me and my baby brother it was so nurturing and loving, she was so happy taking care of us. From then on I told myself that's what I wanted" I explain. "Wow I never thought of a parent being happy taking care of kids, my mother sure wasn't she said I got on her last damn nerves and that if i did something else stupid that she was going to throw me out of my bedroom window, you know my bedroom is on the 3rd floor right?".
"And did you do anything else stupid?" I ask.
"No of course not, I believed her because she told me one time when she was younger she pushed this little girl off her bike because she ran over her turtle and broke its arm".
"That's normal will I probably would've did the same thing". Will chuckles "after she pushed her off the bike she threw her bike into moving traffic". Getting a laugh out of me now I say "Okay now that's a little crazy".Finally I was back home ready to soak in a bath and settle down. I knew I was going to have another long day ahead of me tomorrow. Running my self a bubble bath I begin to uncover myself leaving bare before getting in to soak. Laying back I took one big sigh of relief before pulling out my jotted poems to read through them. As much as everyone knew I was a writer only will knew I was also a poet. I didn't want to bring that out because what if I became famous off of it my life was already a crazy concert why turn it into a crazy tour? Washing up after reading down my last few words to my latest poem I get out drying off walking back to my room bare. Getting dressed in my gown i get into bed falling into a deep relaxing sleep.
Hearing the sounds of my alarm couldn't have been more peaceful as my eyes finally opened grabbing my phone to turn it off. Sitting up i began to shower washing my hair and brushing my teeth. Getting dressed in some 4inch heels and a pair of dark blue jeans and my favorite shirt that hugged my waist, curling my hair was the last thing I had to do every time before I stepped out into my limo that would always wait on me. Unfortunately my Mercedes was in the shop for temporary repairs because I decided to drive out in the water one day during work and clogged up my engine. Since the car was limited edition I knew it would take them a couple of weeks if not months to actually get my car together fully before it's drivable again. I shouldn't have drove that car out in that rain it was my mistake that I dearly regret. From then on I told myself once i got it back I would take the limo in the rain and the Mercedes out when it was hot. "Good morning Leah" Devon my limo driver greets me. "Morning Devon" I always greet every morning. "Where are we headed today?" He ask. "Same place as yesterday I have to sign a few more people books before I'm free" I explain to him.
"Hey! Oh my god can I get a picture with you please! My brother loves you so much!" The girl explains. "Sure" I accept getting up as she wraps her arm around me snapping a picture before thanking me. Handing back her book the next person gives me their book to me for me sign. Just 20 more people and I would be free, I can wait it's just 20 more people I told myself. Just when the last person handed me his book he thanked me stepping out as will locked up the place. Finally I was free. "Well that was fascinating that last guy he was cute, I think he was into you" he says. "Will I'm gay, nothing in this world is going to change that" I say. "I don't see how you are gay I mean look at you! You are fucking smoking gorgeous". Blushing I say "Your smoking handsome but you're gay".
"Okay you have a point" He says chuckling before taking a seat next to me. "So what's on the agenda today?" He ask. "I'm not sure yet I guess I can go out to a local bowling pin, take my body guards with me because life knows I need a day out" I explain to him. "Yeah it's been one hell of a week" he explains. "I don't have nothing to do maybe we can go out bowling together". "You don't have to ask me will you're invited always" I say to him. "I know I just wanted to hear you say it".
"Say what?" I ask. "That you will miss me if I wasn't there" he explains. Giggling in full blown laughter I say "Okay will don't get ahead of yourself". "What? You know it's true". Cracking a smile I say "Yeah you may be right you're the smile to my day". "Aww really?" He questions. "No my bath is every night". Chuckling he rolls his eyes as I tease him.My phone rings out loud as me and will drank wine in the back of the limo on the way to the bowling alley. My doctors name flashed across the screen, picking up immediately I answer "Hey Dr. Sam".
"Hey Ms. Struck so as you have heard before I would call if we found 2 very strong eggs for you to bare, and a container of clean sperm that was strong also" He explains over the phone. "Yes?" I answer laying my glass of wine down. "Well we have them here waiting on you, me and my colleague have scheduled your appointment for tomorrow afternoon. If it is to busy of a day for you then we can schedule it for another time". "No this is perfect... I mean I'm free tomorrow to come in" I explain excited. "Alright then we will see you tomorrow around 2pm to get the procedure started".
"Great this is amazing thank you so much Sam". "Don't thank me yet, save it for me when you actually get pregnant" he explains. Smiling the most brightest smile I thank him again before hanging up. Will stared at me waiting on me to explain what had my face so lit up in the limo. "I'm going to be a mother" I finally blurted out. "Holy hell thats amazing! I'm so proud of you! We have to celebrate. More Drinks!!" He screams to the servers in the limo.
Finally my dream was about to come true! I was going to be a mother and as excited as I was it also scared me knowing that the time was now here!
