You stretched your wings a little.

"Do we have the supplies we need?" You hummed

"We do."Raptor confirmed with a soft hum her wings twitching

You nodded and looked around at your small mission team comprised of parts of your elite guard and yourself. It wasn't anything large, and in fact there might not even be anyone there and all this will be a waste.

That wouldn't stop you though, if there is something there, if theres anything there, it would be worth having in your storage. Any edge in this cruel world is worth having.

You hummed softly and tapped softly at your comms. It was a different one, so you could more easily send messages to home base. You made sure everyone had a personal space bridge device. You yourself opened a bridge to the coordinates given.

They made you wait to go through last, but when you did you were amazed by the sights all around you.

"A planet of purely organics?" You asked rhetorically

"Mostly organics ma'am." Bladewing hummed looking at his scanner, "Even now I'm getting energon signals, mainly below the surface."

You glanced at him with a hum, "how many?"

"Many." came his vague but simple answer

"Any cybertronians?" You asked

"None yet." Raptor hummed

You nodded, "Good. Set a perimeter so I can set up the walls and we can place camp here."

They nodded and quickly flew off to set up the boundary lines. Leaving you alone to mark the center.

You vented and your wings twitched at the gentle, yet dry breeze. You gazed around at the organic plant life growing from the ground.

This was an odd place the ground was so soft and squishy you felt as though it may give out below you.

Give out to what? You didn't think about that.

Just dumb concerns that would try to take root in your weak spark.

Soon enough all the boundaries were set. Now it was time to play your part. You began to activate a simple wall that would leave the camp camouflaged to all who looked directly at the camp.

You shot a servo up to shoot a fragment into the air it hovered once it reached a certain height faint blue lines streaked across the sky and landed into the set boundaries.

The sky rippled before returning to its original state the sky a dark blue. The ripple ran down rhe whole wall and then settled.

The wall was up and working.

Time to set up camp.

Then scout.

Yup.

Going through a check list here.

You smiled as the members of your party came back to you. Together all of you set up a simple base camp with a few quickly set up barracks.

You hummed as you watched the sky an odd feeling settling within your spark. You placed a servo over your chamber humming.

You couldn't quite place the feeling to anything particular.

Perhaps nervousness for leaving your bots to come to this mission?

No, it's something different.

Like that off queasy feeling you get before you do something scary.

Yeah..

Nervous about this new planet would make the most sense.

Heh.
