You rubbed over the cloth in your digits. You watched the silky red fabric move with your direction, you swallowed a little optics dimming a little. A want to just discard the fabric as a useless material item and take it away from your person was there, you made no action to do so. It was a good idea to just let the past be and let the dead be dead, but you just couldn't.

This useless little shred of fabric, barely the size of your palm now, held so much meaning to you, you just couldn't discard it as though it was nothing, as though all that has happened didn't. There was a lot of complicated feelings battling within your spark, memories of lovestruck youth against harsh reality.

You closed your optics and released a low vent and tried to clear your processor. Leaning back a little you allowed yourself to lay back into the makeshift berth, not to fall into recharge, no, just to try and figure out everything around you. But instead you found yourself being swept away in the lovesick sea of your memory.

¨My royalty you must simply accept my offer to-¨

¨I've told you before Tracker, I am no interested in your courting offer.¨ You huffed softly giving your wings an annoyed flick, ¨And this will be the last time you ask. If you ask again your spot on the council will be cut.¨

¨You can't-¨ The mech started to protest

¨Do not attempt to court myself again and you will have no problem.¨ You stated plainly striding away from him in a proud manner

You soon found yourself in the gardens at the entrance of your home. With a soft smile you allowed yourself to wander through the well kept garden beds. You plucked a few of the cybernetic flowers from the beds and happily laced them between your crownage at the crown of your helm.

You continued to allow yourself to wander about the foliage, but a sharp sound of someone not making a good landing and skidding against the ground made you stop your little mindless exploring. You were quick to rush to where the bot had stopped waving smoke away your gaze soon found the bot on his back chassis heaving.

Immeditely you swept down to his side fretting over what you should do. You tentatively reached out and moved his helm a little to face your own. A moment was taken to study his handsome features, but he soon cracked open an optic a sliver of red breaking the solid color of his face. You blinked yourself as a slight dopey look settled over his face.

¨Hi.¨ He chuckled softly optics half closed

¨Hi? Are you alright?¨ You asked lifting one of his arms up a little and let it flop

¨Yeah... My brothers will come find me soon.. and laugh at my failure.¨ He grumbled helm flopping back against the torn up ground

¨I... I don't think that will happen..¨ You murmured

¨What do you mean?¨ He asked quirking an optical ridge at you

¨You're kind of in the royal gardens... They probably won't be let through the gates.¨

He blinked and sat up sharply shooting his gaze around. His gaze settled back on you and his optics widened.

¨Then you must be..¨

¨The Royal Heir, yes.¨ You chuckled

You smiled faintly at the memory, your courtmate had crashed into your life and hasn't ever left. You sighed quietly and rubbed the cloth against your face plate, you missed him still. Even if he was dead to your race, you still love him.
