In The Beginning...

In the beginning I tried my hardest

That should have gone farthest

Had I known

That my true talent was discovered by you

I felt so weird in the beginning

But I didn't cry or give up

We are warriors as I said before

I couldn't write to save a life

Until you wrote my pages for me

I knew that as you helped me discover my talent that I would have a career

And in this year,

I lost my fear

To write a poem

And now I owe em'
