Y/n's POV:

??? :  y/n hey.

I look back and see Jonah.

Y/n : hey

J : I'm sorry

Y/n : look Jonah it's fine. I have to get home.

I keep walking but he follows in the back.

J: I didn't mean for all of this to happen.

I stop in my tracks and look at him

Y/n : then why did you have to do that?

J : I didn't like the way he was talking to you.

Y/n : you don't need to be my hero. I could've handled it by myself Jonah.

J : I'm sorry for caring so much.

Y/n : listen I have to go

I walk away before I start to tear up.

J : wait y/n.

He grabs my back pack and pulls me back. I leave my head down. I grab my sleeve and wipe my tears.

J : no no don't cry

He pulls me into a hug and I just cry.

I look up at his bruised face and laugh. I go up and touch his face.

Y/n : your so stupid.

J : what * smiles *

Y/n : Daniel did that to you.

J : okay forget the hug. Byee

Y/n : * laughs* bye

He made me feel ten times better. But I have to stay away from him. Later as I was walking I realized i hadn't used my phone all day. I opened it and it was on my messages from the morning. But there was something I hadn't read.. from Jonah.

I read the text and close my phone.

Y/n : *sighs*

-GETS HOME-

M : hey sweetie how was school.

Y/n : Bad!

M : what happened???

Y/n : you know that guy that came the other day to take me on a date ?

M :mhmm

Y/n : him and Daniel fought. Because of me!

M: oh sweetie I'm sorry

* she gives me a hug and rubs my back *

M : it'll be alright. I promise you. I made some cookies. You want any * smiles *

Y/n : *sniffs, smiles * sure. Thanks mom.

M : of course. Now you go sit on the couch and I'll bring the milk and cookies

* I love my mom so much. She's the absolute best, she understands me so well and is always there. When I'm in a moody stage she sets up a movie and we relax. Later the movie ends and I go to sleep.*

-NEXT MORNING GETS TO SCHOOL-

(skip to lunch cause I don't got time for that)

* I go to lunch and sit alone. I just didn't feel like being around anyone. In the corner of my eye I see Daniel watching me from the other table *

Y/n : * looks down *

I really want to talk to Daniel but from what I've heard he doesn't wanna talk to me. A little later I get up and throw my tray and walk out into the hallway.

Daniels POV :

I saw y/n across from me sitting alone. I couldn't stop thinking of her. Then she leaves. Now was my chance to talk to her alone.

D : hey. Can we talk

Y/n : sure

* I pull her into a corner where no one sees *

D : y/n I am so sorry. I'm sorry for the way I acted. I'm sorry for being a so demanding to you. I later realized how much I hurt you. I'm shouldn't have told you straight up like that. It's none of my business anyways. You can be with who ever you want. I won't get in the way. * sighs * And I mean it in the most sincere way. I'm sorry I'm sorry I sorry. You don't have to forgive me I just wanted you to know.

Y/n : I'm not talking to Jonah anymore...

D : it's fine, you can be with him. I understand

Y/n : no it's not fine. I don't wanna loose you Daniel. I never wanna loose you. You're my best friend. You come first in my life, than any other boy. I was too caught up on Jonah. I guess you could say I was "into deep"

D : y-yeah

Y/n : are you okay ?

D : yes I'm just glad I got you back.

I smile at her then we hug for a long time.

Y/n : * sigh of relief *

Little did she know I wanted her to be
