Daniels POV :
School ends and y/n and I walk out of athletics together.

D : * sighs * I'm actually tired and sleepy.

Y/n : me too. Did you even sleep ?

D : no

Y/n : I wonder why.

* mumbles under breathe * because of you

Y/n : hmm ?

D : oh nothing.

Later on we leave and I take her home

Y/n : thanks dani

D : yep. * smiles *

Y/n : so I'll see you tomorrow ?

D : yeah

Y/n : okay bye * smiles *

She starts to get up but I grab her hand

D : y/n wait... about what you said earlier, did you mean it ?

She looks at me with worry in her eyes and sits back down.

Y/n : yes of course I meant it. * smiles *

D : I'm sorry for the wa-

Y/n : stop apologizing. I already told you it's nothing serious.

D : you can hang out with Jonah. I'm not one to tell you what to do.

Y/n : I don't know if I should anymore. It's not good for us. It gets in between us and I don't wanna risk you getting hurt again. After what I saw today. It was my fault you guys fought.

D  : Jonah was right. I treated you really harsh.
it's not your fault. None of this was. Maybe it's better if I just back off.

Y/n : w-what do you mean ?

D : I just ruin everything for you.

Y/n : no, no Daniel you don't. In fact you make it better.

D : that's not true. So just go.

Y/n : wait daniel-

D : I'm sorry. Don't worry about me anymore.

Y/n : why are you pushing me away ?!

D : because I don't wanna hurt you

Y/n : that's all you ever do! Just push me away!

I look up at her and I see a tear fall down her cheek.

D : yeah you're right..

Y/n : so what. After we had just made up, you're just gonna do this ?

D : yes. As much as I want you I can't ever have you. So what's the point

Y/n : w-what ?

D : nothing.

Y/n : n-no no what did you say ?

D : what's the point

Y/n : before that. Damn it daniel what did you say ?!

I grab her cheek and pull her close to me and kiss her. We kiss for only a few seconds until she realizes what happened.
