Listen I am advising you now. Don't read. Add to your library maybe but you will just be confused because information is missing and needs to be added. Yknow. Avoid all that and just don't read it. If u happen pls dont ask what the fuck is going on because i promise you...I dont know. I have the ending but an i am adding in parts and it's so confusing bc im ending chapters weirdly. So bye hopefully
I pushed my blue-rimmed glasses' frame up on my tiny nose----a nervous habit----and gulped. I straightened my clothes (which was a jumper dress placed over a multicolored T-shirt). I necessarily didn't have any idea why I did this but I took a step forward after doing so.
I could do this. Of course I could. After all I was Mackenzie Park.
I gripped my notepad and pen for dear life. I was approaching Shane Watson. Nothing bad about it except...well...everything. My teacher was lucky I needed this grade or I would've laughed in her face and walked off so honestly I had no choice. This assignment was to help my grades which were A but needed to be A+. There was no way I would get a scholarship if my grades weren't top tier.
See I was the typical quiet, smart, shy, journalist with a passion of puzzle solving and writing. My English teacher insisted- some synonyms: i.e. forced, pushed, demanded, threatened that I go and interview Shane. Maybe make a new friend and all that kind of Bake Sale. But the real issue is simply that Ms.Greene could have chosen any assignment she wanted. Why burden me with this one?
Because word on the street was Shane was a sick-o. And Ms.Greene knew it. Everyone knew it. He had a strange people fetish where he loved them; mostly, when they were away from him. He never really interacted or was seen with anyone and hardly ever came to class in the first place. Someone please inform me, why in the green pastures did he even attend the school of Oakland High?
To top it off he was plenty attractive but most girls were either too scared or creeped out to go up to him.So here stand I, approaching the wild Shane beast.
Its head turns slowly in my direction from the brown wooden nest (bench) it resides on, sending the spine shivering glare that would send a weak gazelle like me running for the hills. Wait.
Shut.
"Can I help you with something?" His head faced me while his entire body remained facing forward. He arm was placed on the back of the chair and he wore a long sleeved black shirt and a jeans pants. Simple enough, although he looked as though he was carved by a God. His jaw line was sharp and defined but his face was long and very proportionate. He had short, brown straight hair sitting carelessly on his head, his caramel eyes shielded by thick, long lashes. He sat alongside his black shoulder bag that was leaned against the bench's armrest.
I gulped again.
"Um...I...came...for...like...something... " I trailed awkwardly suddenly growing a speech impediment.
"Are you retarded?" He shoots rudely. "Can't you talk?" I was obviously appalled. Here I was being nice and he was being his casual rude self.
"Hello? Are you deaf too?" He stared at me blankly clearly not one bit apologetic.
He tried to speak again but I grew a pair and cut him off sharply.
"You know you could at least be a little nicer for someone with such a rigid attitude already. I mean I came here with good intentions and you just had to be an ace-hole? I'm being kind and you're over here mister big, bad and brave and you just shut me down with no kind of motive and decorum." I breathed.
"Are you finished?" He asked with a bored expression.
"No. I also have a few questions." I made my way in front of the bench and sat down and like a chain reaction he immediately stood.
"I don't do interviews." He answered picking up his shoulder-bag and turning around his voice heavy with seriousness. His voice was originally very deep and husky and I should just add that it was very sexy. He started walking to leave, but I quickly jumped off the seat to stop him.
"Wait...umm...stop!" I tried to reason uselessly.
"What?" He paused and slowly turned his head.
"This is important! It's for English and my grade and my college-"
"And I should care, why?" He asked, one well-shaped eyebrow raised.
"Come on. Help a sis out?" I chuckled lightly.
"I'm not your brother." He tossed continuing in his long strides.
"Why won't you do it?!" I shouted after him now clearly frustrated.
"Simple. Because I don't like you." He shouted back casually and walked out of the school compound.
I scoffed.
This buffoon.
Well...that was the end of the prologue. Did you like it?
