Audrey was on her way to her 3rd period class (Astronomy) when she remembered the secret Quidditch match she was about to have. She walked into the Astronomy classroom and set her stuff down. She decided to tell Professor Eric Chadwick that she was going to talk to one of her teachers. Professor Chadwick was a tall young man who had blonde hair and piercing blue eyes. He was wearing a set of green wizard robes. He said that it was okay for her to do this.
Audrey walked outside to the locker room. Emily was standing outside while the Gryffindor and Ravenclaw girls got ready. She opened up her locker to grab her Firebolt and changed out of her uniform and into her Quidditch gear.
Emily walked to the bleachers outside of the school.
The Gryffindor Quidditch team walked out of the locker rooms in style, and the Ravenclaw Quidditch team did the same thing on the opposite side. Audrey was walking in front of the Gryffindor team.
Both teams were now facing each other, looking at everyone with dirty looks.
"All right guys, quick small talk," said Audrey. "Fair play. Let's try not to get caught because, you know, all of our asses will be beat." She held the Golden Snitch in her right hand and said, "Ready?"
Everyone nodded.
"3... 2... 1...." said Audrey. "GO!"
The Quidditch players all got on their broomsticks and levitated high up in the air. Audrey threw the Quaffle towards a Gryffindor Chaser named Grace Miller. Grace was in her 6th year at West Falls School of Magic, and she had reddish-brown hair, ivory skin, and blue eyes. She caught the Quaffle and threw it into one of the goal posts.
The Gryffindor team cheered, and so did Emily and Steven, who were sitting next to each other.
Audrey saw the Golden Snitch fly past her, and she zoomed towards it, accidentally bumping into a Ravenclaw Beater named Nick Marshall. Nick was in the same year as Audrey, and he had brown hair that was swept to the right side, and brown eyes.
Professor Michael Hanson was teaching a Potions class when he saw a few witches and wizards outside flying on broomsticks when they weren't supposed to. He stopped class and went outside to see what was going on. Hanson wasn't tall, kind of average height. His brown beard was short and professional, more hair on his chin than his actual head. His brown eyes were cold and covered by rectangular glasses. He looked like a normal wizard, but there was obviously something chilling and off about his presence. He wore all black wizard robes.
"AUDREY MCKINLEY!" he shouted as everyone stopped. "STOP WHAT YOU ALL ARE DOING!"
Audrey felt scared as she stopped. Everyone flew down to the main ground and got off their broomsticks.
"You all will be coming with me, even you two," said Hanson, pointing at Emily and Steven.
They all followed Hanson to the dark detention room in the cafeteria.
"Will one of you explain why there was a random Quidditch match without proper supervision?" he asked.
Audrey got out of her comfort zone, walked up in front of him and said, "It was my idea, Professor Hanson."
"Why would you do something like this, Miss McKinley?" he asked sternly.
"I wanted to do this, and so did they."
"You could've told Madam Livingston about this, I'm sure she would've accepted it."
Shit, Audrey thought to herself. "I didn't think of that."
Professor Hanson sighed and said, "Well, I won't give any of you all detentions..."
Everyone sighed in relief.
"...this time," said Hanson. "I saw a little bit of that match, and most of you are good. I'll let you all off the hook this time, including you, Emily and Steven. Although Steven, if I catch you one more time skipping my class, we're gonna have to tell your parents about this. Do I make myself clear?"
Steven nodded and said, "Yes, sir."
"You may all go."
Everyone left and went to change into their regular school uniforms. When Audrey was done changing, the bell had rung for students to either go to lunch or to their 4th period class. A ton of witches and wizards came up to Audrey and congratulated her for the surprise Quidditch match.
Things couldn't have gotten stranger the next day....
