~Feya~
"Mum, I can't breathe"
"Oh! I'm so sorry sweetheart I'm just so happy to see you!" mum said right before she hugged me again. Dad was standing at the end of the staircase; staring at his feet like they were the most interesting thing in the planet. He took a step forward and cleared his throat.
"I'm sorry. I crossed the line. I shouldn't have told you to leave" he said in a steady and firm tone while looking at me.
"It's okay. I guess I over-reacted" I said and shrugged my shoulders. He nodded and then opened his arms slightly. I smiled and hugged him tightly.
"I'm really sorry" he whispered again.
"Everything is fine now"

"RED"
"What the actual fuck?" is he kidding me? Dad was working late tonight and mum and Jason fell asleep while we were watching Two and a half men. There was a marathon.
"What? What exactly do you want? Are you seriou-? Why are you laying down on the ground?" I asked in a tired tone. It's late and it has been a really tiring day.
"I'm drunk. Like really drunk. Like really, really drunk" he said and giggled. I closed the door behind me after I grabbed my keys and walked closer to where he was laid. I looked down at him and he smiled at me as he closed his eyes.
"What's wrong?" I asked and he shrugged his shoulders.
"Lay down with me" he whispered and I sighed. He looks so damn wasted. We have school tomorrow. Oh wait he doesn't care. Right.
"I swear if this is a trick I'm going to make sure you won't make any junior Hemmings in the future" I threatened him and he started smiling and shaking his head; assuring me that this is not a trick.
I laid down next to him and we stared at nothing in particular for a while. It was kind of nice. The silence was really calming and the cold air didn't bother me much.
"I'm such a fuck up. I just keep fucking everything up" he blurted out eventually. I turned my head to face him but his eyes were closed. His breathing was calm but the way he sounded and the way he had his eyebrows furrowed made me think that maybe; just maybe the bad guy was gone for a while.
He was hurt; right now; at that moment he was hurt. He relapsed like everyone would but then again he remained strong enough. Enough to keep himself going.
"What makes you think that?" I whispered as I snuggled closer to him. He opened his eyes and looked at me with a confused expression but I just shrugged it off. I wrapped my arms around his and decided to keep this position for as long as he would let me.
"Dad"
"Oh" I didn't need to hear more. It really wasn't necessary.
"So Jack came home and dad started saying that I should be more like him and Ben and I was just so mad with him; I snapped and just for a change he actually listened" he started but eventually did stop. He bit harshly on his bottom lip and I just noticed that his lip ring was gone.
"Jack told mum and dad he decided to drop law school and dad kind of said that it's my fault" he finished and I looked at him confused. How the hell was this Luke's fault?
"I don't know. That's what I've been asking myself the past 3 hours" he mumbled back. Did I say that out loud? Apparently.
He turned to his side and I was finally able to see his eyes. They were bloodshot and weary and I wasn't sure if it was because of the alcohol, crying or both.
"I think you should go home. They will be worried and I think your father will come around. He must have realized how stupid what he said sounded like." I mumbled and Luke shook his head no. He sneaked his arm around me waist and brought me closer to him as he buried his face at the crook of my neck.
"I prefer it here" was all he said.
"Don't you think laying on my porch in the middle of the night is a bit too weird?" I asked him and he chuckled.
"Normal is overrated while weird rocks"
"Nice response" I mumbled and this time the only reply that I got was a muffled thank you.
I thought I should let us stay like this for a while but I'm definitely driving him home afterwards. His hair was tickling my cheek and I laced my hands in it; removing it from my sight.
"Feya?" he spoke up again after a good ten minutes filled with nothing but silence.
"Yeah?"
"Thanks" he mumbled. I started patting his pockets; trying to find his car keys so I can drive him home.
"Thank me tomorrow at school when you'll be taking the painkillers like they are candy" I said and heard him laugh. I managed to get myself back on my feet and went first to lock our front door and then to help Luke stand up as well.
I made him walk to his car and I seated him on the passenger's side; bucking his belt as well. I closed the door and he immediately let his head rest against the cool window. Just when I was about to get in the driver's seat dad came.
"What's going on?"
"He's drunk. I'm driving him home" I explained. Dad said he would follow because how would I return home? I had seriously forgotten about that.
The drive there was silent. Luke was humming a song completely unknown to me; his eyes closed and a small frown on his face.
I wanted to ask him if he was okay, if he felt like throwing up or screaming to no one in particular but I decided against it. What he really needs right now is sleep and to be left alone.
I parked his car at their driveway and got out of the car. By the time I had walked to his side he had barely moved. He tried to get out of the car while still wearing the seat belt. I laughed a bit with how lost he look when he tried to get out again but the belt prevented him.
"What's going on?" he whined and I giggled as I unbuckled the belt and helped him up.
I had my arm around his waist while his was resting on my shoulders. I slowly helped him walk to the front door.
"Luke your keys" I mumbled and he looked at me confused.
"You have them"
"Your house keys" I said again and he let out an oh. He dug his hand in his jeans and pulled out a small set of keys.
He passes them to me and I slipped the small gold like one in the lock. The door was easily opened and the first thing I saw was Mrs Hemmings and who I assume is Jack; rush to the door with worried expressions.
"Hi Mrs Hemmings" I mumbled and she gave me the most grateful smile I have ever received. Jack helped me get Luke upstairs and laid him down on his bed.
"Thank you unknown girl that I've seen twice but don't know" Jack said and I chuckled.
"I'm Feya" I said and placed both Luke's car and house keys on his bedside table. I saw Jack nod his head and I left the room. By the time I reached the staircase Luke was fast asleep.
"Thank you so much dear" Mrs Hemmings said and hugged me. Luke's dad was sitting at the kitchen and I saw him nod along with his wife; agreeing to what she said.
"No problem" I mumbled and as I walked towards the door I turned my attention towards Mr Hemmings.
"I know it's not my place to talk but...I think you should apologize. To both of them" and then I walked towards dad's car who was still waiting for me.
