The chalk dust fell to the ground as Lydia quickly wrote out her work and answer for the problem in AP Algebra, after checking to make sure her answer was right, she walked back to her desk with her heels clicking with each step she took. As she sat down though, her eyes hadn't wandered back to the board, they had wandered over to where Stiles and Malia sat on the opposite side of the classroom, giggling and whispering about who knows what. 'Stop it!' She thought to herself before quickly looking down at her lap; what the hell was wrong with her?! If Stiles was happy she should be too; Malia on the other hand she didn't really care for.... It wasn't anything personal, she just didn't like the way she acted. Trying to leave her and Kira in the dessert? It was a total bitch move, one that had no excuse, even if she had been a coyote for most of her life. And as Lydia's thought ended, so did class, the bell rang to excuse the school to lunch in the courtyard. Before Stiles and Malia could even try and walk with her to lunch like they usually did, most likely at Stiles' request, Lydia hurried out of class and into the girl's bathroom. It was a habit, her and Allison used to meet in the nearest bathroom before lunch so that she could reapply her makeup in the middle of the day, but Allison wasn't there anymore... So, it seemed she would be reapplying alone.

After the bathroom the strawberry blonde had to stop at her locker to grab lunch, only to be pestered by some senior boy about going on a date with him. "Not interested." She spat immediately before walking out the double doors to her usual table with Scott, Stiles, Kira and now Malia. Their lunch group had shrunk down significantly, missing Isaac, Ethan, Aiden, and most importantly... Allison. She sighed softly before seeing Scott smile at her, she returned a curve of her lips before noticing that her usual spot next to Stiles had been taken by none other than his new 'mate'. "Oh.." She mumbled softly, it was strange to her, she had never been a third, or in this case fifth, wheel. But with Kira and Scott on one side, and Stiles and Malia on the other, she was forced to pull a chair to the end of the table awkwardly. "Something wrong?" Stiles asked with a face full of sandwich. Without even an eye roll at his non-manners, Lydia shook her head silently and pulled a container of salad from her bag and began to eat. It was a good fifteen minutes before anyone spoke to Lydia again, and out of all four of them, it had to be Malia. "Hey did you get the work last period? I only answered the first question and uh, I think I did it wrong." She said with a roll of her eyes. Lydia looked up with an annoyed look, Algebra was so simple, this girl was so idiotic she was surprised they hadn't sent her back to Elementary school, it was clear she needed it. Obviously Lydia got the work, she understood everything, and if she didn't she did whatever was necessary until she did, "Maybe if you and Stiles hadn't been chatting the whole class, you might have actually learned something." She shrugged before scooping up some more lettuce in her fork and putting it in her mouth smugly. Stiles and Scott looked to each other and then back to Lydia, "You okay Lyd?" Scott asked slowly, "Yeah, that was sort of harsh..." Stiles added with a raised eyebrow. "Oh please, Stiles you just don't want me to hurt Malia's feelings." She rolled her eyes before directing them at Malia again, "Besides, there's nothing harsh about me telling the truth, I'm not going to help someone that doesn't even try. Sorry." The strawberry blonde shrugged as the lunch bell rang, alerting everyone that it was time for fifth period. Malia practically growled as Lydia simply stood up and left, heading off to her English class without so much as a wave to her so-called 'friends'.
