Lydia got out of the hospital early the next morning, she was however, excused from school until the following Monday.  So, for today she was bedridden at home, spendig her day watching Dance Moms and critiquing the Mothers' motherly abilities.  It was barely after noon when she heard a knock at the door, her mom was at work until six, and everyone else was at school... Or at least that was what she assumed.  The strawberry blonde stood up slowly, her legs still achey from the accident, and moved towards the door with a curious look upon her face, "Hey Lyds!"  Stiles had practically come out of no where, but he had come bearing gifts.  From chocolate in one hand to a teddy bear with flowers in the other, Lydia had no choice but to let him in, "Aren't you supposed to be at school?"  She asked with a small chuckle as she took the flowers to find a vase.  The boy shrugged, "There's nothing important going on today, just the HSA for Government." "Wait what?!"  Lydia exclaimed, doing her best to run up the stairs and get ready, she couldn't miss her HSA!  But before she even made it past the third step, Stiles gripped her wrist with a raised eyebrow, "I was kidding, we're watching movies in most of our classes, I have the gang sending me text updates." Lydia smiled softly at his joke, she pushed him lightly and went back to sit on the couch, looking up to where Stiles still stood by the steps, "Are you planning on staying? Cause I hav an empty seat beside me and at least three more Dance Moms episodes recorded."  SHe smirked over to him, the Stilinski boy walked over and plopped down beside her, not too close but not too far either, he had a girlfriend, and ever sinse he did, things hadn't been the same between him and Lydia.  Hopefully today would make up for that...

It was almost seven when Lydia's mother woke the two teenagers up, Lydia's head in Stiles' lap didn't exactly make for a good, 'It's not what you think' story.  The strawberry blonde waited for her mother to go upstairs before she walked the boy to the door, "Thanks for coming over Stiles, I've missed us...hanging out."  She smiled softly while leaning against the door frame.  He nodded in agreement as his brown eyes took in her familiar body before making contact with her green pupils, he couldn't look away, for just as usual, Lydia was compelling to him.  She cocked her head slightly, "Stiles?" As her voice rang out he shook his head, "What?"  He asked loudly, looking at the ammused smile she wore and then down at the ground, "Just, promise me you'll be safe okay?"  Stiles mumbled as he took a smal step towards her, and pulled her into his chest tightly, "I'm gonna come see you again on Saturday, yeah?"  It was a whispered promise, but one that meant the world to Lydia.  Not many pople had asked her how she felt about Allison passing, and Aiden's death was as if he had never been there in the first place, but Stiles always seemed to know when she needed him... And right now was as good a time as any.
