Manipulation

The basis of many injustices all around
Destroying lives without much sound
Control over others to achieve a goal
None touched by it are left as a whole

Blood may needlessly flood forth
As many begin to question their worth
Trust is built upon hidden intentions
Lies seeming true are but simple inventions

To master this art takes many years
Causing to shed many pained tears
Belief important to success for all
Shattered simply as many esteemed fall

Overlooked it hides behind its own mask
Aiming simply ahead at its own task
Looking towards the goal to gain
No care or thought 'bout whose pain

Seen in politics, friendships, religion
Not unused in every life mission
Who to trust uncertain we wonder
Providing ourselves with another blunder

Weakness and confusion leave us weak
The very factors predators always seek
Quickly they strike out from the darkness
Until all needed are simply now lifeless
