It's Time

Every human bleeds red,
And if left to bleed
all would be dead.

Every person needs fed,
Yet many are hungry
As they go to bed.

We are all one race,
No matter the country,
Colour, time or space.

We all deserve a place
Where we can live
With a smile on our face

This is our reality
To stand together
With our community

We have a responsibility
To help each other
Grow into their possibility

Those shot in the head
Have others now who
Will stand in their stead.

So take a stand
It's time for us all
To make a demand

Protect your human kin
Even strangers as this
Is a battle we all must win
