I spent half of the day thinking about what Cabir said. And I knew that I was drawn towards this girl. Cabir's right, we won't have happiness unless we try. I had shit myself up because what happened all these years scared me to death. I couldn't just bring myself to trust anyone. So I had just built walls around me. But it seems that she's breaking them effortlessly. The baby inside her was also helping more. I know I had an option of having the baby conceived medically, but I wanted it to be natural.

The rest of the day went by me working on Mr Ferranti's project. Oh well my business was a bit in demand. It was all my and Cabirs hardwork and no silver spooning. Well in my business we used to construct and design the building or hotel even houses and put it for sale or we would design it as the buyer wanted. It was in demand more for hotels around as the design and materials were incomparable. My designers had worked hard for this and I appreciate that. Welcome I had done my MBA. Si had Cabir. I also owned a chain of hotel and bar, but never considered that as a business because the money I would get from it would always be used for charity.

So I left work by 7 and was tired. But I was determined to talk to Nandini. Because I knew she walked be in a foul mood in the morning due to sickness. And I knew that even though she wouldn't want to reject me yet she would and that would hurt my ego bad!!

I reached home. I rang the bell and waited for her to open the door. This gave me a homey felling. I knew that there was someone waiting for me and would greet me removing all my tiredness. All these years I had Cabir yet I was alone. But now I had my my baby and.. Nandini maybe.

The door opened and I saw a smiling Nandini standing. Well I must say she was one of the most beautiful women. One of the reasons why I chose her. She would always say that she loved my brown orbs and wanted my eye colour. But truth to be told her eyes were more prominent shade of brown. She had long wavy brown hair reaching the base of her back. I so wanted to touch them but I knew I couldn't. I snapped out of my thoughts when I heard clearing of throat.

She just stepped forward and hugged me even though I had pushed he away once and had lunged bad words at her. Her hug gave me the comfort and removed all my tiredness. The moment I thought of hugging her she stepped back. Her face showed pure disappointment because I didn't hug her back but she faked a smile. She had this constant flow on her face because of the pregnancy. Though she wasn't showing much still anyone could guess that she was pregnant by the glow. I had once asked about the time around which she would start showing. She had said by the end of 16 weeks she would start showing and now she was just 10 weeks far.

I stepped inside the house and the smell of my favourite food hit my nostrils. Damn wings are my weakness and thats what was being cooked.

" I love this smell I can't wait to have my dinner." I said rubbing my hands after dropping my jacket and tie.
"Oh well I m glad you loved the smell. Karen wanted to go somewhere urgently so I thought of cooking." She said walking towards the kitchen. And that's when I noticed she was wearing my t-shirt and shorts looking cute af.

" Okay then I'll go change. I need to talk about something too." I said going towards my room to take a shower. After a fifteen minutes shower I changed into my tracks. I descended the stairs and reached the kitchen to see her busy frying the chicken. I just went near her and stood behind her without making any noise. And.

" Bhoo" She screamed on top of her voice. Damn I scared her to no level. I started to laugh like a maniac.

" You idiot! You almost gave me a heart attack. What the hell is wrong with you. I was scared to death and here you're laughing you dumbass." She said hitting me on my chest while I was so busy laughing.
