3rd person POV
All of the fleets depart from the naval base right after nagato gave them the last briefing and mutsu is the one who lead them. Some of the ships are yawning because they have to sail at 3 in the morning which that made fubuki feels suspicious.
"Mutsu-san" fubuki call out mutsu
"Hmm?!"
"Why do we need to sail at this time? Some of us might just sleep right now"
"It's because the destination that we need to reach is far away from here and probably we reach it by morning"
"What did you know about the cargo that we need to escort mutsu-san?"
"I know a little. But, we must reach the destination first before i can say everything. Otherwise i'll be punish"
"There's no one here mutsu-san. Can you just tell us already" kaga suddenly interrupt
Mutsu show them a bracelet and all of them look confused
"This bracelet is a detector. If i try to tell you before we reach the destination, i will be punish or worst being scrapped"
All of them were shock and it feels unfair
"It's just a cargo and they even warned us like that? That'not an idol type at all. Not like naka-chan" naka say while do a heart shape with her hands
"I'm also confused as you guys. And i'm sure nagato feels the same. Because we got orders to bring that cargo back to naval base no matter what. Probably our questions will be answer when we reach there" mutsu explain
Fast forward: 0900 hours
The cargo escort team arrive at their destination but they feel something is weird. The island looks sorrow and there's no one or anyone there. They sail around the island looking for a emblem that nagato said and taihō found it.
"It's here!! The emblem!!" Taihō yell to the rest of her team.
All of them look at the emblem confused and also weird. Because that emblem is the same as yamato's emblem but the place looks old and abandon. They found a old dock and they disasemble their gear. All if them follow mutsu from back and they found a large mansion or more like large base near the shore.
The base looks old and looks like it's been abandon for a decades. The cargo escort team approach the base and start to ask mutsu a question about what that cargo might be. Mutsu just kept her mouth silent and they found that the doors are not fully close.
They enter the base an it looks abandon. But suddenly, a cannon starts to fire and it's a trap. All of them take cover at the tables and behind the walls. But some one approach them with a mad voice
"WHO'S THERE??!! HOW DARE YOU TRESPASSING MY BASE!!!"
All of them keep their silence, but that person already spotted them.
"SHOW YOURSELVES!!! I CAN SEE YOU!!! YOU BETTER COME OUT OR I'LL BLAST YOU FACE!!!"
They got no choice but to surrender and they come out from their hiding with their hands up.
"Please don't hurt us...we come in peace" mutsu try to calm that person down
"Tell me!! What do you want and who sent you!!" That person emerge from the darkness of the place and it shows a male that looks almost like yamato with a zulu flag in his right bicep.
He walk towards them with a cane and every time he move his abdoment, a sound of cracking or more like something rusty in his body.
"We've been sent by the admiral of the naval base to bring you to the naval base" mutsu explain it to him
"You mean, that admiral who in charge of the fleet girls at the naval base?!" That person ask sternly
"Yes!" Mutsu answer
"Tell him that i have no business with him and leave this place or else i split each and every one of your bodies alive!" He threat the cargo escort team and all of them look scared except kaga and mutsu
Mutsu try to convince him but he reload the trap cannon with his hand and starts shooting at them. Causing them to run away and retreat to the shore.
"Come on guys...let's go home. I don't want to be here. I'm scared of that guy" naka tells everyone
"Not until we take that cargo back to base" mutsu answer naka's words
"How we're suppose to take that cargo while that dangerous person is guarding it" sendai say with a stern voice
"No! He's the precious cargo" mutsu finally said the truth
"He's a..." Taihō and naka say
"Precious..." Added by jintsū and sendai
"Cargo??!!" And ended by Fubuki and kaga
Time skip: 2100 hours
All of them had to make a camp at the shore that they were docked earlier in the morning. Everyone sit and surround the campfire and fubuki asks mutsu for explanation.
"Mutsu-san. Can you at least tell us why we need that scary guy back to the naval base? And what purpose that the commander want with him?"
"Because he is our predecessor"
