CHAPTER 9: CURRY NIGHT

Fast forward: 1800 hours

Yamato's POV

I'm in my warehouse repairing my gear since my all my cannons was abandoned for 30 years. There so much things to be done and many cannons were damaged. Looks like i have to stay all night to get all of this done.

As i try to find a spare parts for my right bicep cannon, suddenly a door was knocked and i open the door to see who was knocking. Turns out it was one of the aircraft carrier who was sent to picked me up from my base. I think her name is kaga...

"Yamato-sama. It's time for supper" kaga called me out while standing at thw door emotionless.

"Noted. I'll get myself's ready" i reply while wiping my dirty hands with a cloth.

I clean my hands and and get myself's ready while kaga still standing at the door staring at me.

"What are you looking at?" I ask with a frown.

"N...nothing" kaga reply while turn around and hiding her face.

"Let's go" we left the warehouse and kaga follows suit.

Along the way, both of us kept our mouth silenced. I realized that i'm still a stranger and my presence here are still shook the heck out of kanmusu.

"Yamato-sama.." Kaga call me out with her emotionless face

"What is it?" I reply calmly

"Mutsu-san told us that the male fleets are not just our predecessor, but also our elder siblings" kaga sounded like she needs and answer.

"So?" I ask her

"May i know about my brother?" Kaga ask me about one of my oldest comrade.

"Your brother, kaga. Was a legend on the sea. He was in service after a battle with abyssal princess led by me. He was a skilled guy and doesn't afraid to go on a frontline and he's the braviest amongs all male fleets" kaga interested with my story.

"We fought side by side under a squadron led by me. Our squadron team called the demolition squadron. Me, kaga, akagi, taihō  kongō brothers and sendai brothers. We fought every hardest battle that non of the fleets ever dare to fought and your brother alongside akagi was our biggest contributers to the battle" kaga smiles after she knew that her brother was a legendary

"May i know what happened to him now? Where is he to be exact?" Kaga ask a little bit desperate but maintains her emotionless face.

"The last time we ever exchanged words is when we left the naval base 30 years ago. And after that we never contacted each other or more specifically, we lost contact" my answers leave a sad expression on kaga.

Both of us keep out mouth silent and kaga seems like she need someone to comfort her. Well..she wanted to know about her brother and i did tell her. She just have to accept what happened.

Fast forward: Mamiya cafe

I arrived at the mamiya cafe and the admiral told me it was the best cafe ever in naval base. I enter the cafe and suddenly all the kanmusu who were eating jolt up surprise and they stand up giving me a salute. I salute back at them and some of the kanmusu had their spoon and fork attached to their mouths. I guess this going too far.

"At ease. Carry on, girls!" All kanmusu sit back on their chair and continue eating and friendly conversation.

"......!" Admiral waving at me and he called me to sit at the table for four.

I saw nagato sitting beside the admiral amd he offer me a seat beside mutsu. Judging by the looks on nagato's face, she still unsatisfied by my appearance here at the naval base. She just like him after all..
