Time skip: Next Morning
Another day shines and today i ordered all kanmusu to guarding the whole districts if abyssal making their move. I received a report from mutsu and i begin to analyze it, but i realized something that caught my eyes. Bauxite supply was running low and an expedition must be held at once.
"Mutsu, who handling an expedition for bauxite?"
"Destroyer group 6. The akatsuki class"
"So that little ones are responsible for it eh? Tell them to mobilize, i will join them for this expedition"
"Understood"
Mutsu left the warehouse to inform the akatsuki class for their next expedition. I prepare my gear and it looks ready to go. I wear the gear and launch myself on the ocean, waiting for those little girls to arrived. Couple of minutes later, those 4 younglings finally arrived
"You're late!"
"Sorry yamato-sama, hibiki overslept" akatsuki apologize
"Can't be help...next time, please be punctual"
"Yes sir! All the girls reply.
"Alright, let's search for bauxite and i know the good spots are"
All of us sail the ocean to the place that has a lot of bauxite and that is the west of the ocean. As we sailing to the designated place, all this younglings look curious and they got something on their mind.
"Yamato-sama, back when you were a official fleet, who's responsible for collecting bauxite nanodesu?" Inazuma ask
"Your brothers, the destroyer group 6"
"Does our brothers alive!?" Ikazuchi ask
"Except akatsuki, he was sunk during the battle of north district in the civil war"
Upon hearing this, all destroyer group 6 was shock as akatsuki's older brother sunk during the battle against brothers. But to ensure that akatsuki didn't get depress, i will tell them his bravery in battle.
"Akatsuki was an outstanding ship. He was part of my VA protection squad alongside his brothers. There's no single assasination happened when he was around me"
"Was he....a great ship?" Akatsuki ask with a sad face.
"He is, he guarding me and my most trusted bodyguard ever. Every time nagato issuing an assasination on me, akatsuki was the one who left them failed. He has a sharp eyes and at one point we called him genius. Most of our war wins when he coordinating the battle. He's also an excellent in finding bauxite. Believe me, whenever the destroyer group 6 out for expedition, akatsuki always found a rare bauxite and that is a source of ours during the civil war"
We continue to sail to the west and all the way we didn't spot any abyssal enemy. Guess that they received the message and threats.
We're arrived at at the west ocean and this is the first start in harvesting any supplies that we can found. I ask akatsuki and hibiki to proceed on collecting fuel while me, inazuma and ikazuchi are at the shore nearby to mining a bauxite. Both inazuma and ikazuchi let out a huge sigh as they are preparing tools for mining.
"Ugh...why do we have to mining this place for bauxite, why can't that thing floats so that we can easily collect?" Ikazuchi sigh
"Who doesn't work, doesn't eat. It's up to you" i joke around
"But this is tiring, nanodesu!" Inazuma sigh
"Step aside ladies. Let me show you how we fleet boys do the work" i step front
