"He is our predecessor" mutsu finally tell them about the person that encountered earlier this morning.
"WHAT???!!!" All of them yell in unison
"How he can be our predecessor?!" Sendai ask
Mutsu look at her detector bracelet and the light turns from red to green. With that said, she knows that she can finally spill the truth
"Let me tell you guys a story about our predecessor. Before we, the kanmusu became an official fleet for the naval base, the male fleets were the once who ruled the sea. They were the official fleets who fought with the abyssal before us. But after a huge war, the researcher created a newly and more advance fleets known as kanmusu. After the admiral was satisfied by us the kanmusu, he declared that the male fleets are obsolete and they left the naval base one by one until there's no male fleets left and they lost contact with the naval base. And some of them might be scrapped or rust for the rest of their life"
Hearing that story, all of them feel sad about what happened to their predecessor.
"So the precious cargo that the admiral want is him?" Jintsū asks
"Yes! And he is the mighty Yamato!"
When hearing mutsu's word, they are more shock as they can't believe that they met a male Yamato.
"For your information, all the male fleets are our older brother. Or should i say, he is yamato-san's onii-chan"
They actually can't believe that their predecessor is not just their superior and senior, but they also are their elder sibling.
"When did the male fleets were declared obsolete?" Fubuki asks
"I don't know. Probably 30 years ago..." Mutsu explain with a concern tone
"30 years ago??!! But he looks young and not even age" naka say with a confuse tone
"That's the special about us the kanmusu and male fleets. We're not gonna aging, but we only rust if we didn't get repaired. If you notice yamato earlier. You can hear a sound if a cracking in his abdoments. And that's the sound of a rusting" mutsu explain
"So that means, yamato didn't get repaired for many years?" Taihō asks
"Correct!" Mutsu say
Yamato's POV
As i walk to my room, i noticed a smoke coming from the shore neard my old docks. It looks like they still not giving up trying to bring me back to the admiral. I don't care if they wanna stay for a night. But i hope they be gone by morning
Time skip: 2 days later
Location: admiral's office
3rd person POV
Nagato is worried about the cargo escort team. After she didn't get any reports from mutsu. She goes to the admiral's office and the admiral look at her calmly
"Admiral. It's been 2 days that mutsu and her team departed from the naval base and we didn't get any reports from them. Should we sent backup?"
"....."
"What do you mean they'll be fine?!"
"......"
"I'm always put a faith on the fleets. But what makes me worried that we didn't get any reports from them"
"......"
"I understand. But after 3 days, if i didn't receive any reports, i will sent a fleet there"
Location: Precious cargo island
Yamato's POV
I was was resting on my bed and i saw another smoke at the shore. It's been 2 days and they still didn't leave this place. I called one of my fairies and i told him to spying on them.
A few minutes later, my fairy contacted me via morse code and he said that the girls were cuddling each other in front of the campfire and they are freezing cold. I sent a morse code to tell them that i invite them to my base. I want to dig up an information on why the admiral want me back at the naval base
3rd person POV
One of the yamato's fairy approaching mutsu while all of them are sleeping. The fairy poke mutsu's waist and she's awake from her sleep and realize that the fairy is waking her up.
The fairy pointing his finger at yamato's base and he wave his hand and telling her that yamato invited all of them to his base. Mutsu wakes everybody up and tell them that yamato invite them to his base.
All of them were scared and even disagree to go to the base. Worrying that yamato might shot them again. The fairy explain that yamato meant no harm and he willingly invited them.
As soon as the reach the door, yamato open the door and let them in. Yamato walk to his chair with a support of his iron cane and the cargo escort team look at him with a concern. In their mind, they think that when is the last time yamato got repaired
Yamato sit on his rocking chair and he look at the girls with emotionless.
"If you guys are cold, light up that fire place. There's a wood beside it. Help yourself out" yamato point at the fire place.
"Thanks..." Fubuki replied with a weak voice and yamato nod
"Have you guys resupplied?" Yamato ask
"No... We didn't have any supply" mutsu answer
Yamato order his fairies to prepare a food for them and they rush to the mess hall.
"Who's your leader?" Yamato ask
Mutsu step forward and yamato nod at her. He point the chair in front of him and she sit on it
"So tell me...what did admiral want from me?!" Yamato ask sternly
"The information is classified, but what i know that, the admiral needs your help yamato-sama" mutsu reply
"My help?!" Yamato ask sternly
"Yes. Can you please come to the naval base? Looks like when the admiral assigned us to search for you, his face looks like in desperate" mutsu explain
"Alright. I will follow you" yamato finally agrees
"Really?! Thank you!" Mutsu reply happily
"Because i feel suspicious. Why do he need me while he got you the fleet girls who far more advance than me an outmoded and obsolete" yamato say sarcasmly and all of them keep their mouth quite.
The fairies come out from the mess hall and bring a food to the cargo escort team. They look at the food with a not interested face.
"That's all we got here. Don't expect a five star service, or else i kick you guys out"
They obey yamato's word and eat the food without complaining. After they done with the food, they get some sleep for tomorrow's escort.
