Overprotective

Sorry I haven't posted recently my homework is killing me and I'm spending time with family. Plz tell me if I misspell something or whatever. Anyways I hope you enjoy! 😄

Izuku's POV:

A week has passed since the incident and Shoto has been very overprotective over me. Sometimes it gets on my nerves, though I know it's for my own safety. I'm now about 4 months pregnant and everyone in class knows I'm pregnant. Some guessed and some were surprised. Everyone is super nice to me and they crack jokes like "when's the wedding?".

I think the best part of being pregnant is you can eat whatever you want and they can't judge you. Like one time I ate pickled radishes with peanut butter. The lunch lady gave a weird look and thought it was because of the weird cravings you get. I know it was really just me. A couple days after we started to get random presents as congratulations.

The hardest part about it was when we had to tell Shoto's dad, Endeavor, the news. It was really scary but man! You should have seen the look on his face it was complete and utter shock. Though I would be surprised if one day my son came home and said 'hey dad I want you to meet Izuku Midoriya. I got him pregnant in the first month of school.' He couldn't talk for a while but when he did he gave Shoto a thumbs up and welcomed me to the family. (Before Endeavor welcomed our dear, adorable Izuku, he had a little talk with Inko. Let's just say she is scarier than any Nomu or Symbol of Villiany around...)

I snap out my trance of the past week. I'm in the comfort of my bed. I was reading memes from Pinterest. I get up and go down stairs. Shoto pulls me into his embrace and I hug him back having a warm smile on my face. We stay like that for a while.

I hear my mom call, "Izuku! Shoto! Food's ready!" I groan, "Awwwww! But I was so comfortable! Can we stay like this a little longer Sho~?" I felt tired and comfy! "Come on. We don't want that delicious food to get could do you?" Shoto says with a little smirk.

Before he gets up, he puts butterfly kisses on the edge of my ear. I blush as he releases himself from my grip. He helps me up, and we head out the door. We get our food and sit down to eat. My mom sits down across for us with her usual happy self.

With her usual tranquil self she says, "So, do you plan on getting married?" I started to choke on my food. "*cough *cough Mom! Don't you think that was a little random?" I asked surprised but wondering what Shoto has to say about it. "No, I think she has a point. I've um.... been thinking about it and I should have asked sooner... " Shoto has dust of pink on his cheeks. I'm a little surprised though I've also been thinking about it. Shoto gets off his chair then gets on one knee. I'm so surprised! I can't believe he's about to.....! "Izuku Midoria, will you be with me forever? " As Shoto says that he pulls out a dark blue box and opens it. In the there's a wedding ring. It wasn't just any ring though!

Flashback*

Shoto and I are window shopping and I see a wedding ring shop. I stop in my tracks as I see a wedding that has a round ruby in it with smaller diamonds surrounding and going around the ring. It says it's a Double-Halo Diamond Engagement Ring in 14k White Gold with a Round Ruby. I thought it was beautiful and wanted it... until I noticed it's price was A WHOPPING $7525!

End of Flashback*

I stare at the ring and my mind starts to explode! I can't believe he remembered that! I thought I looked away fast enough so he didn't see! And....... HOW CAN HE AFFORD THIS?!?! I'm so surprised that I don't say anything. I breathe and smile tears start to filly eyes as I nod. He slips the gorgeous over expensive ring on my finger and gives me a warm embrace.

I was so happy in that moment! I heard someone blowing their nose and I look over to see my mom in tears...  Wait, Was she their the Entire time? Whatever I too happy to care right now. I tap on Shoto so he would release me from his (overly-strong) grip. After I'm released I go over and give my mom a hug. Everyone was so happy you could smell the pheromones thickly layer out. After what seemed like forever everything calmed down a little. Before we continued eating I took off the ring and showed my mom.

I then remember how much the ring cost. As mom was picking at the ring I walk over to Shoto. I give him a look and ask, "So... Where the heck did you get all the money to spend on this ring and how did you know I wanted it?" "Well, I've been working a part-timr job and had plenty saved up. I wasn't sure what kind of ring you wanted until that says we went shopping. When I say the look on your face I knew it was perfect! It was worth it to see that adorable look on your face too!" he said to me with a sweet warm smile, I smile back.

Time skip to the next day of school

Shoto and I walk to the front gate and I see Uraraka and Iida next to each other. We walk over and I proudly show off the ring. Uraraka squeals and Iida give my fiance a thumbs up. As I show Uraraka the ring closer she says, "Holy crap! That is one EXPENSIVE ring! How can you afford this Shoto?" I blush as he explains it was nice being happy like- OH MY GOD I THINK I JUST FELT THE BABY MOVE! "H-hey, um Shoto? I-I think I just felt the baby kick!" I say loudly.

He turns towards me and goes to my stomach. He places his hand on my belly and I feel the baby kick again. "They kicked again! Did you feel it? Did you feel it?" I asked kind of excited. He nodded smiling, and I see Uraraka giving a mischievous grin at me. She gives me the thumbs up, and walks away dragging Iida with her.

We head to class holding hands happily. After we walk into class I see some people staring at my other hand. I totally forgot about the ring and start to blush. Uraraka must have told everyone about it already. "Hey you guys, ribbit! So it's true you two are now engaged? That looks like an expensive ring Todoroki ribbit!" Tsu says with curiosity. I blush while Shoto says, "Yes we got engaged and it costed a pretty penny but it was worth it. Nothing this too expensive for my Izuku!" He said it loud enough for the whole class and my face is beet red. I hear lots of 'ohhhhs' and 'awwwws'. It was embarrassing but the bell rang so we went to our seats. Aizawa Sensei crawled(?) in with his yellow sleeping bag on and the day went on slowly. At the end of class Aizawa Sensei stopped me. "So by the ring on your finger I'm guessing that Todoroki finally asked you to marry him?" Aizawa Sensei guessed. I nod and feel happy for it. He sighs and looks at me, "That's okay I guess but if you are worried about anything don't hesitate to ask, okay?" I nod, thanking him and happily go off to lunch thinking about what he said.

Timeskip Doctor's Appointment

Shoto and I wait outside the doctor's office for our name to be called. We are hear to have our first check up for the baby. We are also hoping to find our if it's a boy or a girl (though it might not want a gender). We hear, "Izuku Midoria!" and head to the doctor who said it. He had slicked back brown hair and glasses. He asked, "So you are hear for a baby check up? Are you excited?" We smile and nodes at him. "I'm going to be putting a gel on your belly for the ultrasound. It might be a little cold though," he says with a smile. He propped me on the chair and put the cold gel on my belly. He was right it was cold. I started to squirm because I didn't like the feeling. Shoto held my hand to distract me. He turned on the screen, and we could see inside my belly. It was a little weird to see. The doctor gave us weird expression.
