Chapter 5: USJ

Class 1A was staring at the inside of the Unforeseen Simulation Joint, or USJ. Accompanying them was Aizawa alongside the Pro Heroes: Thirteen. They were there in order to perform special training exercises regarding rescue operations in harsh/unusual situations, and they were all very excited about it, except for one of them. Izuku made it look as if he was nervous about the activity, but he was actually nervous because All Might wasn't there.

After Thirteen finished to explain the purpose and composition of the building, Aizawa was about to ask the class to go downstairs in order to begin the training exercise, when suddenly a purple mist which Izuku knew very well started to form in the center plaza of the USJ. A pale hand which Izuku identified as Shigaraki's came out of the portal, and the portal immediately widened to allow tens of villains to pass through it and step on USJ's ground. The attack had begun.

- Good morning young heroes. We, are the League of Villains. We're here to help All Might to exhale his last breath. He was supposed to be here, so where is he? - asked Kurogiri as he warped behind the students.

Bakugo and Kirishima charged at the Villain without thinking it twice, but the Villain launched some kind of mist towards them, and when the mist disappeared, they were nowhere to be found. Everyone was surprised at this, but they didn't get the time to understand what had happened, as Kurogiri quickly released a lot of mist towards them, and when the mist disappeared again, the only remaining ones were Thirteen, Izuku and Iida. Thirteen quickly told Iida to run for the exit and go warn the rest of the teachers, as when the hero had tried to use her phone, she had discovered that there was no signal. USJ's hadn't rang either, so the hero realized that the Villains had nullified their electronic means to get help. Iida tried to reply, but Izuku didn't allow him to and told him to go immediately. Iida ran for the exit and Kurogiri tried to stop him, but Izuku used three tentacles to grab his corporeal body under the fog and stop him from doing it. Kurogiri understood his intentions and made it look as if he couldn't escape, thus allowing Iida to get out.

Once Iida was out Kurogiri launched a powerful stream of purple mist at Izuku, warping him to the landslide zone. When Izuku fell to the ground, he noticed the cold around him, only to then look around and see that Todoroki had been fighting some villains there. He saw the girl interrogating one of the villains, but thanks to his enhanced perception, he also saw that standing behind Todoroki was a Villain whose Quirk seemed to be some kind of camouflage, which had made it impossible for Todoroki to notice him. The Villain was about to attack her, and Izuku, out of pure instinct, moved his arm as if he was throwing a stone, and at the same time that he did this, five symbiote darts launched from his forearm, sticking into the Villain's right arm, earning him a pain scream from the Villain, whose Quirk stopped working due to his lack of concentration, revealing his chameleon-like aspect. 

Todoroki immediately jumped away from the Villain as she turned around to face him, her eyes wide open from the surprise.The Villain desperately tried to attack the newcomer using his tail to swing around and launch a kick at Izuku, but the boy single-handedly grabbed the Villain's foot and sent him crashing onto the nearest wall, where Todoroki immediately froze him, leaving only his head out of the ice in order for him not to die of suffocation. She then turned around to face her savior, realizing it was Izuku.

- T...Thank you Izuku-kun - said Todoroki while blushing almost imperceptibly.

- What else was I supposed to do? - replied Izuku with a smile - Have you seen anyone else around here Todoroki-chan?

- No, I don't recall having seen anyone else around here while I was fighting - replied the girl as she turned around.

Suddenly a familiar purple mist formed near the girl, as Kurogiri appeared there. Todoroki tried to attack the Villain, but something hit her on her nape causing her to faint. Izuku then kneeled next to her and placed his hand on her throat to check her pulse.
