LETS MAKE ONE THING CLEAR: Jasmine Juliana Dijkstra is not heartless, nor is she a sociopath (so don't listen to whatever bullshit Rita Skeeter is spreading around!). Sure, she may be a bit of an opportunist, but don't you have to be if you want to be successful in life? Maybe it's the reason why she lacks in the friend department (who knows??). Then again, who needs a large quantity of friends when you have all the money in the world and a cat to keep you company? Under any other circumstances, this wouldn't have been such a problem but when you're cooped up in some mediocre magical boarding school in the Scottish Highlands with people you can't stand, it is.
So when Jasmine Juliana Dijkstra, the ever so clever and ambitious Slytherin saw an opportunity, she took it. By combining one of her favourite things (money) and one of her least favorite things (most of the hormonal teenager she goes to school with), she started a matchmaking service called Cupid's Helper.
But when Jasmine returns for her sixth year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, she has a lot on her plate. As if preparing for N.E.W.T.s, junior blood supremacists and a brewing war weren't enough, there's also the fact that business-ruining rumours about Cupid's little helper are going around.
And like, all of this would have been fine if her knight in shinning armour wouldn't have been some leather jacket wearing, wannabe rockstar with amazing hair (no, but seriously, what products does he use?) offering to fake date her to put an end to those rumours.
