Cold , it's always cold at this time of night . Draco was walking the halls on his nightly patrol as prefect , so far nothing had come up so he was just wandering around on his own . A few portraits  grumbled at him as he shone his wand bright into there eyes  but apart from that  it was silent so he stowed his wand behind a suit of armour and transformed .

Warm ,  it  was warm under Harry's blankets  he watched people on the marauders map pacing ,  walking  but mostly  sleeping . He mostly just keeps an eye on Ron and hermione and tonight he was doing just that  . He watched Ron turn a corner and harry held his breath as he noticed  Draco malfoy a name directly to the left of him but Ron just carried on walking as if he hadn't seen anything  but he  must have  malfoy was right next to him and even in the dark he would have easily been seen .  Harry sat confused for a moment before noticing next to draco malfoys name there were four feet instead of two .

Merlin that was close , but thankfully at around 15 inches tall no one can see me in this light , I trotted along ,my small white paws tapping as I padded across the stone floor ,  it was the  12th time this year I've had my nightly adventures in my animagus form , it is far more fun that regular Draco who in this school Is seen as a bit of a prat which I guess I am a bi...  Shit voices . I jumped to the side as weaselbee and an unknown figure walked past again " you shouldn't be out this late , you could get caught. . Harry are you even listening to me ?"  Weasley said to apparently potter " yeh yeh ,you go on Ron I wanna check something " I heard weasley grumble something before I heard footsteps coming back my way . I turned to run but suddenly there. Was a bright light in my face and potter was squatted next to me , his face went from shock to confusion to shock again "malfoy ?" He asked I stupidly shook my head "okay now I know it's you malfoy cause foxes don't shake there heads when asked questions" I went to sprint but he grabbed me by the scruff of the neck and started walked back to what I presume was griffindor tower ,  I started squirming trying to escape his grip but he then held me  tight to his chest " you're not going anywhere until I've got some questions out of you  "

Time skip 

I plopped malfoy down on my bed  after sitting down myself and casting muffliato , I pointed my wand at him " turn back into malfoy " I said the little white fox just growled at me " I swear ill transfigure you into a  teacup " I warned  pressing my wand deep into the foxes fur causing him to jump , the animal then looked as if he was going  over his options before sitting neatly and turning back into malfoy  . His hair was slightly disheveled and he looked extremely cold  but right now I have only one question " are you an animagus?" He looked  surprised " how do you know that ?"  He said "because I pay attention when hermione is talking to me....well most of the time ,and I  also knew  a couple of animagi. " I told him he nodded "you're going to tell everyone aren't you " he said head bowed  I thought for a minute " no but on one condition " I said with a smirk "what   ?" He asks "when you have a free period you have to pretend to be my pet " I told him crossing my arms , he looked as if I'd just told him I wanted to bang professor snape "absolutely not " he said crossing his arms as we'll " fine by me ' dean ! You'll never guess what malf.." " okay I'll do it just don't tell them I'll be the laughing stock of the whole school" malfoy rushed shoving a hand over my mouth

Time skip 

I can't  believe this , I'm sat in the griffindor common room being snuggled by granger I swear I'm going to kill potter in his sleep, if only Severus was alive how ashamed he would be ."oh harry he's adorable , when did you get him " granger crooned  I barked and growled at her backing up until I hit someone it was potter . He scooped me up and placed me on his lap "same place you got crookshanks , you know from diagonal alley" harry told her ,bullshit he stole from my free period of Insulting first years for me to sit on his .. warm , comfortable lap  ...  I mean what no it horrid and uncomfortable and who am I kidding I've wanted to be this close to potter since third year . I just wish he felt the same way and wanted d be with me to .I have to ask him .

Suddenly malfoy lept of  my lap " hey rusé where are you going " I said jumping up , draco chose the name I haven't any idea why it means as it is French , I ran after him up to my dorm where he was whining and scratching at the door" calm down  , merlin what's gotten into you " I sighed opening the door  he jumped up on my bed  and I dived in after him " what's your problem ?" I asked " do you like me " human draco suddenly asked "wagyk I mean your okay I guess ". I replied confused " no do you like like me " he said going slightly pink " oh um I guess I've never looked at you , or men in that way before '' I said rubbing the back if my neck awkwardly " I'm in love with you harry " he said " WHAT !!!" " NEVILLE WHAT THE FUCK " I screamed at the boy who was lying on his bed reading a book titled ' worlds most potent and poisonous plants ' " what the fuck me what the fuck you , why is malfoy in griffindor tower proclaiming his love to you ??" Neville screeched " what's it to you longbottom ?" Draco sneered " not now draco " I mumbled to him " Neville please don't tell anyone , it's my fault Draco's here and we were just talking " I explained , sort of " how did you sneak him in here ?" Neville asked " I turned into a fox and walked in " Draco said , I turned to him in disbelief he just raised an eyebrow " haha very funny , harry I'd get him outta hear before Ron sees him ,he'd blow a fuse "Neville said returning to his herbology book "harry ?" A voice from behind him said "who's th..WHATS HE DOING HERE !!?" 

No ones p.o.v 

Ron screeched from behind them as he noticed Draco's presence , harry protectively hid Draco behind his back to which Draco was shocked "Ron calm down " harry said putting a hand out  " HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO BE CALM WITH THAT POMPOUS GIT NEAR ME ?!" Ron continued to screech " Ron do.." "HOW ARE YOU SO CALM  WITH THIS FILTHY DEATH EATER SCUM NEXT TO YOU ??" "RON.." " WHY IS THE FOUL PRICK EVEN IN HERE AND WHY ARE YOU "PROTECTING" HIM IS HE YOU FRIEND NOW AFTER ALL HES DONE TO YOU THE LITTLE BITCH I WISH HED HAD DIED IN THE WA"     *SLAP* harry smacked him " how can YOU still hate him much after all he's done to redeem himself he practically saved our lives , and you need to stop with the petty name calling its ridiculous Ron seriously I expected better from you " harry said taking dracos arm and pushing past Ron  " and yes he's my friend " harry hissed as he walked out the dormitory .
