A dark-haired child ran through the golden field filled with ripened wheat. The child's little legs carried him as far as it could until the boy stopped because he was out of breath. He finally laid down on the field, surrounded by the blooming stalks of sunflowers.

His grandparents owned over five acres of land and his mother lived on the farm before she gave birth to him... And his brother. It was weird, though, because the boy never saw his twin often. Maybe five times a year during the holidays, but that was it. It was rare to have his other come and visit him. Ever since he was five, the child lived with his grandparents who took care of him. They never spoiled him or treated him like he was anything particular because after all, they too were busy with farm work.

Just then a bark reached his ears, and the boy sat up quickly and turned. "Lulu!" His head whipped to the right and was greeted by his faithful golden retriever. He embraced his only companion and ruffled its hair playfully.

"What is it girl? You hungry?" The boy asked his dog and reached into his right pocket for a handful of treats which he always kept ready. "Here — Go get it!" He threw it a few feet away and watched his dog run towards the treat.

"Sick em', Hun!"

An identical voice called out and immediately, a black labrador barked at the golden and snatched up its treat. However, the boy was too distracted to realize that this happened. Instead, he was delighted to see his older brother again.

"Hyung!" He waved his arms and ran to his twin. The younger embraced the elder tightly, but all the latter did was push him away.

"Kwangmin..." The elder said almost disdainfully. "How are you?" He forced his manners.

"Great hyung! Actually, I was just with Lulu right now and—"

"You mean that golden retriever over there? Yeah, I remember her. Unfortunately, she was too slow and meek. She let Hun get her treat," Youngmin said. "Didn't you train her properly?"

"Huh?" Kwangmin blinked and looked at his dog who lay on the grass when she should've been munching on the treat. He rushed towards his dog and offered it another, which it ate gratefully and stood up again, only to dash towards Youngmin's dog. But, just like its owner, the black lab completely ignored the golden and went on it's way.

Kwangmin looked at his elder brother, whose back was turned to him. He looked at his twin with longing eyes and sighed.

Then it hit him.

Only then Kwangmin realized that the dogs were just like himself and his twin. One chasing after the other hopelessly in search of brotherly affection which was never present. No one cared — And he looked to his twin for comfort or a little understanding, but none came.

They shared the same face, but their personalities were completely different. They looked exactly alike, but Kwangmin had the feeling that his parents favored Youngmin more. They probably had the same brain mass, but Kwangmin couldn't understand why his hyung didn't have to study so hard for tests like he did.

Kwangmin at least thought that his brother would understand him, but he didn't.

Youngmin lived in the city with his parents and travelled all over the world because his parents were called from one country to the other. Since Youngmin was older and since he was willing to, the Jo parents took Youngmin along in their trips. Kwangmin was left in the safe and quiet environment of his grandparent's farm. While the older Jo grew bolder, the younger only became introverted and lonesome.

Only now did Kwangmin finally know why they were distant and he just wanted to know.

"Hey, hyung..." Kwangmin whispered and looked at the back of his brother, who stared into the distance.

"Ah?"

"Do you hate me?"

"Oppa!" A feminine voice called out and broke the long silence. Kwangmin was about to cry, but he realized the voice and blinked away his forming tears.

"Sunmi!" Echoed the younger, who whipped around and waved. A smile lit up on his face as he saw his friend, the only other kid his age; a girl. Sunmi was a short-haired and light-skinned girl who always wore a grin. She was cute, yes, but don't be mistaken since she has a tomboy attitude.

Youngmin turned around as well, but was enveloped in the warm embrace of the girl, who he was not at all familiar with. Kwangmin's smile faded as he saw his friend snuggle up against his twin, who wore a shocked expression on his face.

"Yah! What the heck are you doing?!" Youngmin reacted quickly and pushed her away. Kwangmin couldn't help but catch the bright pink tint on his elder brother's face. Sunmi stumbled back and fell into the arms of her real friend who caught her on time.

"K-Kwangmin?" Sunmi looked up at Kwangmin, then she looked at the 'perpetrator' Youngmin with disbelieving eyes. "Who? Are you Kwangmin number two?" She said, quite afraid and bewildered.

"No," Kwangmin laughed a little. "He's my twin."

"Elder brother," Youngmin bluntly objected.

"Really?!" Sunmi shook her head and rubbed her eyes. "I never knew that you had a twin! Much less elder brother."

"I'm sorry I've never mentioned it before," Kwangmin apologized.

"Wah! Jjang!" The girl looked back and forth. "He seriously looks just like you! Even I made a mistake!"

Kwangmin just cracked an awkward smile, but Youngmin crossed his arms objectively. Then he looked at the girl with piercing eyes. He opened his mouth to make a point which made Kwangmin's heart break.

"Look, just because he share the same face, we're nothing alike."
