Ch. 4 Life Away from Home

The moving day was finally upon us, we managed to get Jacob out of school a little early so that he could help me and Yui pack and have him get his personal things from his room. Yui's firm managed to supply a truck for the moving and a team to help us move them all up to the penthouse. Its certainly gonna be a huge change from the small little house that we've lived in all these years, we've been here since after Jacob was born and we thought this was our forever home. But with Yui's new promotion and the board aid for her firm I was proud of her she came, she came to the mansion before a scared little girl who had no idea what she was getting into. But now she's married with a family, working on one of the biggest development firms in Japan I even heard her say that she was to have the company handed over to her when the chair head finally retires. That's one of the reasons I fell in love with her, she never gave up and she keeps moving forward in life. Nearly everything was out of the house, all that was left were a few personal items from Yui and I's room, a couple pictures from our wedding, Jacob's baptism photo, and the photo of the day we bought this house. We're leaving behind a lot of memories, but were forging on to make new ones for the future.
"Ayato, babe is everything out of the house?" There she was, with that pink blouse and white sun tank top, even though shes pushing thirty now, she still looks as young and beautiful as the day I first laid eyes on her. "Yeah everything's all ready, just need to close up the truck and head out. I'll take the truck and meet you guys there whileyou and Jacob can pick up something for lunch when we get done unpacking alright?" "Alright babe care for anything in particular?" "Just as long as you've got it I'll eat anything." And with that I gave her a kiss and told her I loved her, and we both set out to start our new life in the city.
