Siren
So you know that feeling when you're about to do something you've kind of wanted to really do for like forever but by the time you do, you also feel like it's going to end up not being so great?
Yeah, well, that feeling is how I felt when Kasen suggested we played spin the bottle or truth or dare.
The thing you need to know about Kasen is that he likes to make up weird interventions when people chicken out. And since Lance has a bunch of hair dye (for some reason), his intervention this time was that you had to let the people you trust the least to dye your hair while you are blind folded.
And right now, it seemed to be my only option because there was no way in hell I was going to prank call a certain somebody at 10 pm, especially when that somebody has a class at 5 am and is probably in the middle of studying.
"Come on Sii, you either do this, or we get to ruin your beautiful firey hair."
I let out a deep sigh and held my hand out.
"Blindfold me. I am NOT dealing with Copeland' s wrath next time she visits."
Lance laughed and handed me the blindfold, alowing me to tie it around my head and moving my hair out.
I heard Lance's voice demand for Trisha to set a timer and for Kasen to grab the dye.
"Alright, Si, ready to be spun?"
"hell no"
And then she spun me. Lance let go after a while and I assumed Kasen held out bottles of hair dye.
I grabbed on blindly and hoped it wasn't a bottle of lube.
Trust me, Brandon has done it before to Lance.
I swear he has a crush on her or something.
Anyways, I heard Trish let out a noise of complaint.
"Okay, Siren, hopefully this'll turn out great without bleaching your hair."
"I don't know if I should be worried or..."
and then they all laughed, like the secretive asshats they are.
I felt Lance roughly grab my head.
"Well, we all know how Lance likes it"
We all laughed and even though I couldn't see, I'm pretty sure Brandon winked.
I sat still enough to react every time Lance got the dye on my neck, forehead, or ears with elbowing her. She would retaliate by shoving my shoulder.
When I finally got the blind fold off, we continued with our game.
"Alright, Brandon! truth or dare?"
"Dare, I'm not a genital coward."
I started to crack up at his word chose before continuing.
"Okay, I dare you to show us that secret spotify playlist. Bet it's full of our emo jams, right?"
Brandon rolled his eyes and pulled his phone out and pulled up spotify, casting to the tv in the living room. And unsuprisingly the playlist was called Lance with like 5 outdated emojis next to the name.
"Wait, Bran? Why are most of these like love songs? Are you secretly a romantic?"
Brandon was blushing profoussely at this point and was nodding as Lance teased him.
"Yeah, Lancey, I kind of have a crush on you..."
Everyone began to shuffle back from the two and stared at each other. Lance was quiet for 2 minutes straight.
"Makes sense" is all she says. Then she smiles super wide and jumps on Brandon, messes up his hair, and kisses his cheek.
"I've had a crush on you since we met, Bran.I thought I was completely obvious about it too"
"Oh"
We all laugh and continue the game while occasionally breaking into song and before I knew it, time was up to rinse my hair.
After that was done, we all decided to order pizza and watch a movie.
I picked it out and put on shrek because well, we're all huge memes. I'm pretty sure we would've been cool or funny in like 2018 tbh but now everyone hates our old memes.
I had been falling asleep on Kasen' s lap while they messed with my now blueish green and purple hair when my phone started to buzz against my leg.
Looking at the screen I saw that it was Jaime. Fun.
I answered with the following terminology,
"Hey loser, what's up?"
"The tension at your house."
"fun. So what's important enough you call me during shrek?"
"your dad's ranting about you not being home. You might want to come home soon"
I sighed and sat up, apologizing silently to Kasen that I got off of them.
"Can you tell him to listen to his voicemail? I left him a voice message about staying the night at Trisha's."
"He did listen to it and he's pissed, he wants you home. You do remember that the remberence tour starts on Monday right? You're band's still gonna play right?"
I sighed and looked back to my friends.
"Fine, and yes, I remember, why else would I have a suitcase packed in my room?"
Jaime laughed and then said he'd pick me up in 10 minutes.
Here we go

As soon as I got home I tried my best to run up to my room. Unfortunately, Vic stood at the top of the stares with his arms crossed.
I sighed and headed back downstairs, purposely dragging my feet, something that annoys Vic big time.
When I get to the sofa in the living room I notice mom reading a book and smile, waving at her when she looks up. She smiles back before going back to her book.
Vic stands in front of me clearly pissed and a hand on his hip. I sigh and sit up, arching an eyebrow for him to start his lecture I would definitely not pay attention to half of.
"Siren, I get you want to hang out with your friends but you have to listen to me. You are living in my house, which means you go by my rules. You'll be with them all tour. This is your chance to remember your sister, the least you could do is be respectful."
There he goes again, bringing up Emmerice. Like she never did anything wrong when she was alive.
I sighed and nodded. No reason to fight with him right now, especially of I want the next 6 months grounding free. I stood up to head back upstairs when Vic spoke up again.
"Ah, Siren, you're not getting out of this for free. You need to go up there and clean your room, and when we go on tour you're not going to any of the greets until you can get rid of this attitude."
I rolled my eyes and rushed upstairs.
I got ready for bed instead of starting on my room.
"Its not like any of your fans or you like me anyways," is last thing I mumble before drifting to sleep.
