Ch. 2- The Date

Niall's POV

I'm so nervous. I'm driving to Nando's to meet Dani for lunch... And I have so many questions running through my head.

What if she doesn't like me?

What if she doesn't like how much I eat?

What if she thinks I'm weird?

What if she thinks the date is too casual?

What if..?

There are so many possibilities running through my mind on how bad the date could go I don't even notice I had arrived at Nando's.

I walk into the resturaunt and look around to see if Dani is already here. Nope, I don't see her. "Table for two, please" I say to the waitress. I'm wearing a hat and sunglasses for a disguise. Don't want fans or paps interrupting the date. The waitress walks me to a table near the window with a perfect view of London.

"Niall!" I hear someone call. I turn to see Dani wearing a cute strapless top and denim shorts. She has a blue wallet with her. If she thinks she's paying she's wrong... She also has sunglasses on. Smart! Just in case someone recognises me, they won't get to see her face! Her pretty magenta colored hair is staight and down. She looks amazing!

"Hey Dani" I say as she sits down. "Hi Ni!" She exclaims. "Ni?" I question and laugh. "Yupp, it's my new nickname for you!" She says smiling at me. She takes off her sunglasses. Her chocolate brown eyes are so gorgous... "Niall?" She asks snapping her fingers in front of my face. I shake my head and look away. "Sorry, love. Your eyes really beautiful" I say blushing. "Awh, thanks Ni" She replies. "What are you going to get?" I ask trying to be polite. "Uhmm... I don't know I've never been to Nando's" She says looking down shyly. My eyes grow wide. "You've never been to Nando's?" I ask shocked. "Nope, I'm from America" She says. "That's why your accent is so funny!" I say putting the pieces together. She laughs at my reaction and replies, "Yes, that's why I sound so weird." She puts her sunglasses back on. Oh, no! She thinks I don't like her accent... But I think it's so cute! "No, no I think your accent is cute!" I say. She blushes and mumbles a thank you. "What do you think I should get?" She asks I THINK trying to change the subject... I don't know, I'm not good with girls. "The Perri Perri Chicken!" I yell. Lots of people turn to look at me. That's embarrassing. I feel my cheeks start to heat up. Dani is laughing at me. "Sounds ... good" She say in between laughs.

The waiter comes to take our orders. "What would you like, love?" He asks cheakily with a wink. "A pepsi and the Perri Perri Chicken please" She orders politely. Then, the waiter turns with a disgusted face and looks at me. "And you?" He asks not very nicely. "A water and the Perri Perri Chicken" I say. He rolls his eyes and walks to the kitchen.

I bet she likes him. He is so much better looking. He has that cool hair and lots of muscles. Ugh, why do I even bother trying to get a girl. I'm never good enough.

"You okay Ni?" She asks me looking concerned. "Yeah, I'm fine" I say clearly lying. We chat about random things and then the evil waiter comes with are drinks and food. He hands Dani here Pepsi and Perri Perri Chicken. Then he turns to me and 'accidently' spills my water on me. Perfect. Dani looks pissed... "Ni, let's go" She says grabbing my arm. I follow her out of Nando's. "I'm sorry Niall!" She says look at the wet spot on my shirt. "It's not your fault and it's just water it will dry!" I say. "Ugh, he was such a jerk!" She says frusterated. "I thought you liked him" I say looking down at the floor. "Why would I like HIM? He was so rude to you! And... I like someone else..." She says. She like someone? Great! Now I really don't have a chance! "Oh" Is all I can say. "Do you want to know who it is?" She ask me. Not really, no. "Sure" I say smiling weakly. "It's you" She says smiling at me. SHE LIKES ME? YES! YES! YES! YES! YES! YES! YES! YES! YES!

"Really?" I manage to choke out. "Yupp" She says shyly. "Well... I like you too" I say blushing. She smiles at me. I put my arm around her waist and we continue to walk the streets of London. I see an ice cream shop... "Hey Dani, want to get some ice cream?" I ask. "Ni and his food" She teases but starts to walk towards the shop. We walk in and the belle chimes. We walk over to the counter to order. "Awh, such a cute couple" The worker exclaims and I pull Dani closer to me blushing. She is just smiling. "What can I get you two?" The worker- Her name is Linsey (I checked her name tag) asks. "I'll have a chocolate ice cream with sprinkles and..." I say trailing off to look at Dani. "I'll have a vanilla with hot fudge" She orders. 

Once we get our ice cream we leave and sit at bench in a park. "This is really yummy!" Dani says. "I want a bite!" I say and she giggles. She scoops some ice cream up and feeds it to me. It IS really good! "Mhhmmm yum!" I say.

Once we have finished our ice cream we walk back to the Nando's parking lot. I walk her to her car. "Good bye Dani!" I say and hug her. "Bye Ni" She says to me smiling. Her smile is so cute! Oh, wait should I kiss her? I don't know... She did say she likes me? But... What if she thinks I'm going too fast?

I see Dani roll her eyes while smiling at my worried expression and lean in for a kiss. Our lips touch and we share a sweet, gentle kiss. It only last about five seconds before she pulls away. "Good night Nialler" She says stepping into her car. All I could do was wave.

Do you like Niall's POV? Or should I stick to just Dani's? And Dani is played by Ariana Grande, so that's what she looks like!
