Ch.11- Unexpected Events

Dani’s POV

I wake up and feel someone’s arms around me. I open my eyes to see Nathan. I wiggle out of his grasp and walk to my closet. I put on a black tank top and some yoga shorts from PINK! I slip on my Ugg slippers and walk into the living room. I see Kelli and Marcus sleeping hugging each other on the couch. They are so cute! I should take a picture! Too bad my phones in my room... I look around at the rest of the room. The Wanted boys must of crashed in Nathan’s room. I see Harry and Louis cuddling on the other couch. Larry Stylinson! I see Rachel and Josh sleeping next to each other on the floor. They are a cute couple I must admit. I think thats everyone... Wait, where’s Alfie? I walk into the kitchen and see him sitting at the table eating breakfast. “Hi love, I made you some breakfast” He says smiling at me. “Thanks babe!” I say and sit next to him. I pick up a fork to eat my delicious looking pancakes but Alfie stops me. “I wanna feed you!” He says cheekily. I laugh at him. He pouts and I give in. He takes a piece of my pancake and feeds it to me. I giggle as he feeds me. Once I finish my pancake Alfie smirks at me. “What?” I ask. “You got something on your lip” He replies leaning in to kiss me. We kiss for a few moments before we hear someone clear their throat. I look up to see Nathan. “Good thing it was me who walked in or you would be in some deep shit” He says to us. I laugh and he just shakes his head at me.

Laughing so damn hard, crashed your dad’s new car, all the scars we sha-

I cut off my ringtone by answering my phone.

D- Hey Simon what’s up?

S- What happened last week? You and the boys never showed up at the set!

D- Oh my gosh I completely forgot! I’m so sorry!

S- Did it have to do with the house party you threw last week?

D- How did you know about that?

S- I’m not that old! Someone mentioned it to me

D- Oh...

S- Well the rest of the music video is re-scheduled for this afternoon... Can you make it?

D- Yeah, I don’t have any plans

S- Good, tell the boys for me!

D- Alright, bye Uncle Si

S- Bye Dani

“What did Simon want?” Alfie asks me and Nathan walks over and takes a seat at the table. “We have to finish shooting the More Than This music video.” I reply. “Oh, we never went back last week” Nathan says. “Yeah well we are finishing up this afternoon” I say to Nathan. He and Alfie just nod. “Go wake up the boys Nath” I say and gesture to where One Direction was sleeping. “Fine” Nathan says and gets up and walks out the door. Alfie is about to follow but I grab his wrist and make him stay. “We need to talk babe” I say quietly. He looks a little scared... “Oh Alfie, don’t worry it’s just about the video” I say and he looks relieved. “Okay... So whatsup?” Alfie asks. “Well... I’m pretty sure I’m going to have to kiss Niall” I say looking at the ground. “And?” He says. “I don’t know I mean I already have to act all couple-y with Nathan...” I trail off. “Babe, I don’t care if you have to do those things. It’s all for your career. I know you love me, and only me.” He replies. “I love you so much” I say looking into his eyes. “So you’re finishing the music video today?” He asks me. What is he talking about? I tilt my head in confusion. “You ready for this?” Louis shouts running into the kitchen. Oh I see now... nice save Alfie!

*****3 hours later*****

We just arrived at the set of the video. Alfie got a call earlier and said he would meet me here... I wonder what’s up. “Dani!” I hear Alfie call from the parking lot. I quickly look if see if anyone is watching and walk over to his car. He looks like he has been crying. “Babe what’s wrong?” I ask trying to hug him. He pushes me away and looks down. “Danielle...” Oh shit this is serious. “I got a job offer” He says. “That’s great! But what’s wrong?” I ask concerned. “It’s back home. In england” He replies, his eyes tearing up. “Oh” Is all I could say. “When are you leaving?” I ask. “Right after I say goodbye to you... but it’s only for now.” he says. “No.” I say my eyes watering. “I promise we can make this wo- wait what?” he replies confused. “I said no, long distance relationships never work. One always ends up getting hurt. But this is a once in a lifetime opportunity. So go.” I say my voice trembling. “But I love you” He replies. “I love you too, but that’s the problem. We will just miss each other too much. It won’t work.” I say quietly. “So I guess this goodbye” He says slowly. “I guess so” I reply. “Can we have at last kiss?” he pleads. Instead of replying I leaned in and kissed him. It was an emotional kiss, but we pulled away all too quickly. “Dani!” I hear Liam call. “Bye Alfie” I say and walk away with tears in my eyes. “What were you doing?” Liam asks me as I walk into the door. “Nothing” I reply weakly. “Are you alright?” he asks. “I’m fine, let’s just do this” I say and walk over to my place.

I walk over to my chair and Lou comes over and starts doing my hair and makeup. All I really want to do right now is break down and sob but I have to stay strong. For Alfie. “Dani? Can we talk?” I hear Niall ask. “Not now Niall. I forgive you. So let’s just forget about everything right now and get this done” I reply my voice calm. “Oh. Uhm. Alright?” Niall says and walks away.

We have filmed most of the the video so far. All the scenes were done... Except the last one... Where I kiss Niall. Which I’m not looking forward to. As they sing the last chorus part Niall starts walking towards me. It felt like everything was in slow motion. The only thing i could really see was a figure because the whole set was dark other than the twinkling lights hanging everywhere. Niall is standing in front of me and Liam says the last part. As Niall leans in I start to freak out a little but for some reason my body make me start to lean in too. Before I know it his lips are on mine. All of sudden I feel a spark of energy running through my whole body.

No! this can’t happen I just broke up with Alfie I can’t have these feeling for Niall. But my body was clearly disagreeing because I couldn't move away.

“And Cut. Great job guys we are finished.” The director says. The scary thing is me and Niall didn’t stop we kept going. I wanted to stop but I couldn’t, until we hear someone clear their throat a minute later. We pull apart and stare at eachother breathless. “Wow” is all I heard Niall say before I turned around to walk away. “Dani! What about Nathan!” I hear Louis yell. “We were never going out in the first place. It was for publicity.” Nathan replies for me. Everyone gasps. “Wait what?” I hear Harry say. I just walk out to the car and sit in silence waiting for everyone to get in so we can leave.
