I saw her

I saw her
I was in bed

I was hungry for comfort
For something

Anything

Anything....

That's when I saw her

Anyone else would have said she was terrifying
That she was scary
Gruesome
Hideous

Her pitch black eyes
Her long slim self
Her silky black hair
The bags under her eyes
Draped in blood and drool

"Take me"
"Please"

I begged

She was confused
"Be afraid"
She said
Her voice was raspy
Creepy
It was almost inaudible

But I needed someone
Anyone

Death?
I thought
Is that you?

I reached out for her
"Please...."
I don't want to live here anymore
