It was dark.
Everything was dark.
The ground, the sky, everything.
I was lying on the ground on my back. Hands behind my head and eyes shut. Everything was dark.
A calm cool breeze began to seep unhurriedly, stroking my hair strands on my face. Floral aroma began to dance around me. I inhaled deeply and then exhaled.
I slowly opened my eyes, beholding the sky which was earlier a raven canvas, was now covered with stars. Looking like diamonds.
It was breathtaking.
I sat up and laid my back on the trunk of a diseased tree.
It was lifeless, like me.
The cool breeze suddenly halted. The stars in the sky got vanished again. Everything was dark, again.
I felt like it was my fault that the living creatures were losing their existence.
My head lowered, realizing what I was wearing.
It was a white evening gown. Which had no glow? It was lifeless. But I felt numb. I felt nothing but numbness.
Abruptly I heard footsteps. They were unhurried and smooth. The sound was elegant.
I gradually rose my head to see a gleam. Slowly and slowly the light came closer and I looked up to behold, the stars were alive again. Twinkling as they have never before.
I felt my body getting warm. A feeling I have never felt before.
The light was now standing in front of me. Now I realized that the light was a man.
Not any man but breathtakingly gorgeous and a fascinating man. Like an angel. He came closer to me. I felt my heartbeat fluttering rapidly. Really hastily. As if it would jump out anytime.
I took a step back. Feeling that if I will touch the man, he will also disappear. I don't want that.
But he didn't hesitate to come closer. Now my back was shoved against the trunk of the deceased tree. He came so near that his breath was fanning on my face. But his skin didn't touch me yet.
