Joe was hosting a party at his apartment later to announce his relationship with Dianne.
The whole morning he was texting everyone who he wanted to come, which was a lot.
He just told them that it was a celebration for all of the successes of strictly so far.
Now, he was in the store with Dianne buying all of the decorations.
'Let's split up, I'll get the food and snacks while you get the plates, decorations and balloons.' Joe suggested, grabbing two baskets from the front of the shop.
'Good idea, I'll meet you back here when I'm done.' She told him and gave him a kiss on the cheek.
Joe smiled before walking down the aisle.
He grabbed platters of fruit and pots of pasta, because Dianne insisted she ate healthily for her diet, which he personally thought he didn't need.
Then, he found the crisps aisle and picked up multiple bags. He then quickly picked up three chocolate cakes before heading over to the sodas.
He got lots of cokes but got a few coke zeros for Dianne since they were her favourite.
Dianne however, was having a hard time.
She searched and searched for paper plates but couldn't find any. She sighed and grabbed a few packs of red cups, suddenly spotting plates.
She picked them up as well as some streamers and bunting to hang around.
She found some balloons with pretty patterns on which she immediately put in the basket.
Once she was done, she walked back to where she was meeting Joe.
Along the way, she saw some glow up stars which you could hang from the ceiling.

When they met back up, Joe laughed at how much stuff Dianne had got. She could barely lift the basket since it was so heavy.
'Let me take that.' Joe said, concerned about her wrist that was almost healed.
'Do you wanna wait in the car? I'll be like 5 minutes.' He tossed her the keys, getting a nod from her.
'Of course, but I'm driving.' She winked and left the shop.

Back at the House:

'Joe! Pass me another piece of tape!' Dianne shouted, standing on the countertop trying to sellotape some balloons to the corner of the room.
So far, most of the decorations were up which made the place look like a real party.
Joe walked over to her and passed her some tape.
When she knew they would stay there, she turned around.
'Catch me!' She yelled and fell back off the counter into Joe's arms.
His arm caught her legs, so he was holding her bridal style.
He spun her around like the spin in the Charleston, making her laugh.
He set her down and looked around.
'We really outdid ourselves,' he muttered, looking at the mass of decorations.
'And now.. we wait.' Dianne sighed, looking at the time.
Everyone would be here in less than five minutes.
'I'm just gonna get dressed.' She said and walked into the bedroom.
A sudden knock at the door startled Joe.
He walked over and opened it.
He cheered as he saw Kevin and Stacey.
'Hey mate, hey Stacey. Come in.' He stepped aside so they could come in.
A sudden mass of people, mostly from Strictly followed them in, chatting loudly.
Soon enough, Dianne came out of the bedroom in a white croptop and a matching white lace skirt.
'Woah, that's a lot of people.' She laughed, trying not to make their relationship look too obvious.
'That's not everyone.'

Once Joe knew everyone had arrived, he had stood on top of the table with Dianne right next to him on the floor below.
'Can I have everyone's attention?' He shouted above the noise.
Everyone silenced, turning their heads towards him.
'I have something to say.' He said, looking at Dianne.
He held his hand out to her, which she took and pulled herself onto the table.
'Last week, me and Dianne became official boyfriend and girlfriend.' He said, gazing into her eyes.
Everyone was cheering, shouting that they shipped it all along.
Dianne smiled up at Joe, putting her arms around him.
'Now, it's time for Dancing!' He yelled, jumping down from the table with Dianne and putting the music on.
'Youngblood' came on by 5SOS and Dianne looked so happy.
'I love this song!' She screamed, immediately singing along.
Joe got out his phone as it came to the chorus.
He recorded them both banging their heads to the music, their faces full of happiness and excitement.
Little did they know, the evening would take a turn for the worse.
