Crowns and Hearts

You set my soul on fire,
And I'm worried.
But problematics aside,
You know me well.
To know that I won't run from it.
And into the starry night sky,
My soul is flying.
Looking down into your bright eyes.
And I will wait,
I'm here to stay.
So when my ghost begins to reappear,
And when your bridges are made of fear,
Know that you wear a crown,
And I will wear my heart.
My soul lights up the way,
Down this path that we've made,
And we slowly ascend into the flames.
Past judgmental eyes,
That don't know us at all.
And what they don't know,
What they don't know,
Could fill a book.
And when the world seems to end,
I'll be here to hold your hand,
Because you wear a crown,
And I wear my heart.
So when darkness comes over the sea,
And demons lurk outside the flames,
Hold onto me a little tighter.
So with my ghost reappearing,
And with your bridges made of fear,
My soul will fly us above it all.
And if the world comes to an end,
I'll be right by your side.
Because you wear a crown,
And I wear my heart.
