I woke up to something stroking my hair, all the pain I had before was gone and I felt safe again. I opened my eyes, finding myself in Stanley's office.

"How are you feeling?" The voice I'm so used to being everywhere speaks up beside me. When I look over I see the man from the room, the narrator. I looked at my hands, there was no evidence that knives had been stabbed through them at all. I warm hand is placed on my shoulder and I relax, I know that hand. I look around and notice the lack of Stanley anywhere.

"W-where's Stanley?" I ask the man next to me.

"I've left him in the freedom ending for a little while so that he can explore." I turn to look at the narrator, his blue eyes connect with mine and I start to stare. He starts to chuckle and the shiver I had felt before from him surfaces again, I can now say that it's a good shiver. I look away and I feel my cheeks heat up, the narrator stands and holds out his hand for me. I take it and stand up, he doesn't let go. Instead he leads me to the room with two open doors. That's when he lets go of my hand and stands back. I turn around and look at him confused. He just smiles at me in return.

"What's happening right now?" I ask him causing him to chuckle.

"This is going to be your story, so go ahead and choose any door you want." I nod and get an idea. I step to the right door and walk through it, past the door to the left and into the warehouse. The narrator just follows me quietly, a soft smile on his face as he watches me adventure. I get onto the platform and jump onto the metal walkway. The red and blue door stands in the room I had wanted to go to. He stands behind me and I turn to look at him again. He smiles and shrugs his shoulders, letting me choose for myself. I go to the red door, wanting to find the one room with the colours. A door opens and when I enter I find it. The black circular platform sits there, with beautiful lights swirling around the room. This was always my favourite place to go when playing the game, I think the narrator knows it too. This was his favourite place as well as he joins me on the floor. We sat next to each other and watched the colours move and shift. The moment was mesmerising but I had to ask the narrator one thing.

"Why are you being so nice to me?" I keep looking forward, not wanting to look at the man next to me. After this small adventure he became all too real to me. I was so used to just talking to the voice, not even thinking on the possibility of him being a real person with a body, but now... Now he was sitting next to me, having just earlier saved me from a psychopath and gave me control over his game. His precious story he had written for so long, his world he had made in detail, he was letting me go explore somewhere else, letting me do something that he hated people doing, that he hated me doing. That's evidently why he brought me here... Right?

"Wrong." I turn to him in fright, he read my mind...? He looks at me with a sweet smile.

"I'm omnipotent, yes I can read minds." My jaw drops in shock making him chuckle.

"W-what did you mean by wrong...?" I ask him and he looks back at the lights.

"I didn't bring you here because of how you played the game. You confused me, I thought it was the game that caused that confusion but it wasn't. It was the way you are, you were interesting. You wanted to learn rather than play the game mindlessly, you talked to me. Treated me like a normal person and when you came into my world I realised just how much I wanted you to stay." This was a lot to take in and he knew it, so he waited for me to think about things. I turned to look at him again, he noticed my gaze and looked at me. I don't know what came over me, maybe it was the fact that he saved my life, was really pleasing to the eye or it was his speech, but I leaned in and captured his lips in my own. I was glad to feel him kiss back after a moment of shock. We soon broke apart and for the first time, I smiled at him. He smiled back and we returned to looking towards the light show again. With me leaning into his shoulder. Soon I had drifted to sleep in this man's arms, a man who I had been afraid of before, but now one whom I loved. Not only did he save my life, he also saved my sanity. After all, you can't have that much human contact when your only friend is Stanley. His presence was warm and when I felt a kiss on my head I thought to myself how much a loved this man.

"I love you too (Y/N), I hope you enjoyed your story."
