Chapter-12: Flashback

"You both are ready to sacrifice your kids for a business deal?", Mark scoffed, "I thought you couldn't give us time but you just don't love us do you?"

"Enough Mark!", his father slammed his hand on the table, "If it weren't for us you wouldn't have been living in this luxury."

"I'd had preferred a loving and understanding family over luxury any goddamn day!", he said.

"Don't make me do something you and I both will regret", he said and Mark just scoffed at them.

"Brake them. Make them hate you both. 48 hours should be enough for that now won't they?"

"You are sick!", Hei shouted at them with tears in her eyes and went out of there.

It was time for both of them to make the most difficult decision of their lives within 48 hours.Hei and Mark were at Kim Enterprises their parents had called them over.

"So what do you think about getting engaged?", Mr. Tuan asked them

"Have you guys lost your mental?", Hei scoffed.

"It's not going to happen", Mark waved his hand and turned around to leave when his father's voice boomed.

"If you don't get engaged I'll make sure Choi In-Ha was it? I'll make sure her scholarship gets cancelled and she never gets into any university", he stopped dead in his tracks and Hei's eyes widened.

"You wouldn't", Hei said.

"She's in an elite school because of her hard work. You can't do that!", Hei snapped.

"Oh don't underestimate me my darling Hei", Mr. Tuan got up and walked towards them, "I can and I will", he said looking at both of them.

"Stop it! We are not pawns for your business deals!", Mark said

"You are the heirs who'll eventually walk in our footsteps", Mr. Kim said this time and walked towards Hei, "If you don't agree to this I will make sure Jb's little information that his family has been hiding comes out", he whispered in her ears and Hei took a stepback startled.

"What?", she said looking at her dad with astonishment but he just smirked.

"Oh his little rendezvous in rehab. You know about his addiction? Dangerous for his image"

"Dad you wouldn't!"

"We give you 48 hours to decide. What do you value more right now?", Mr. Kim said.

"This is ridiculous!", Hei threw her hands up and left.

"We have our ways. Now you wouldn't want us to hurt them would you?", Mr. Tuan spoke his voice dangerous.Hei had never seen Mark so furious in her life before.

"Don't worry Dad",  Mark said

"We'll get rid of them", Hei added

and they clinked their champagne glasses, they drank their pain with the wine

"He is a better man than you could ever be. At least he has the balls to confess", Hei scoffed at him but when a small smirk appeared on her face Jb couldn't hold back.

"Then what the fuck are you still doing standing here?", there was a thunder that was about to tear them apart.

"Wasting my time. This is over", she left saying those words to him.
