Chapter-29: Safe And sound

Hei opened her eyes blinking rapidly as she took in her surroundings. Her neck felt stiff so did the rest of her body.

The light movements on the bed woke Jb; who had quite restless nights in the not so comfortable hospital chair

"Hei" at first he spoke groggily but when he saw her clueless eyes staring back at him, his eyes went wide

"Oh Lord" he held her face in her hands as she gave him a faint smile; tired yet a reassuring one

"Doctor" he contemplated on whether to leave Hei alone or stay with her and call Yugyeom.

Thinking for few minutes he finally took his phone out from his pocket
"Yugyeom bring the Doctor to Hei's room immediately"

Even though Hei was a bit dazed by her surroundings she still managed to catch her brother's hyper emotions through his voice
"Sho woke up"

"Yes now hurry" he hung up on him while settling his eyes on Hei who was looking back at him

She tried to sit on the bed and her slightest attempts made Jb cautious as he was immediately by her side helping her up

Suddenly getting emotional at the sudden as well as first contact after weeks Hei let out a sob
"Hey hey"

He adjusted himself next to her as she got a hold on his shoulders
"I missed you"

Jb's heart clenched at her words
"You've no idea how much I've missed you for past two weeks"

With a shocked expression she looked at him
"2 weeks" her voice barely above a whisper making it hard for him to comprehend

"Hei" a loud voice followed by a loud bang on the door made them look at the entrance

Looking like a baby, Yugyeom took long steps towards her
"You scared me" his head landed straight on her laps making her emotional all over again.

She ran her hand through her hair when another figure entered the room

"Ms. Hei-ran" she nodded towards the doctor

"Ah! You'll be able to speak in few hour don't you worry about it" she nodded again

"Any sign of dizziness?" Hei shook her head

"Do you remember what happened before the incident?" it took Hei a moment to register the question as well as the the previous incident instantly making her whole body to shake.

Jb was quick enough to pull her close while Yugyeom lifted the covers to her arms.

Taking a few shaky breaths she opened her mouth to speak but the words were still inaudible. 

"Don't stress upon speaking" the doctor firmly stated making her close her mouth instantly.

"I'll come back in an hour. The nurse will be here to check your vitals and give you medicines. Later I'll have to interrogate you again" she nodded again this time too tried to respond

The three of them waited until the doctor was out of the room

"In-ha?" she barely managed to speak and none on them could catch her words.

Jb and Yugyeom exchanged looks before Jb's eyes widened "In-ha?"

He asked again and she nodded
"She was discharged two days ago." Hei patiently waited for him to continue after a look of relief washed over her face

"So she was wide awake when we reached"
