Chapter-16: Breaking Barriers

"Something is not right here", Mrs Tuan said her thoughts aloud.

The Tuans and The Kims were sitting in their living room siping on wine at night in their house.

"What do you mean?", Mr. Kim asked her as he took a sip of his whiskey.

"I mean-"

"They are upto something", Mrs. Kim said and Mr. Kim looked at her perplexed, "Why would Hei agree to something like this in a heartbeat?"

"I have my ways", Mr. Kim said smirking proudly.

"When we went there today someone was In Mark's bed. He said it was Hei but she came out from her room"

"You might not have seen her go to her room from his"

"That's not possible she looked confused herself"

"We just signed a multi-million dollar deal, let's celebrate that", Mr. Tuan said

"I'm thrilled! We all are! But we need to make sure that they get married. Because they are the "It" couple. Media is obsessed with them", Mrs. Tuan.

"The media brings popularity to our firm. The more the publicity, the more big bucks", Mr. Kim replied with a devious smile on his face.

"I'll see what I can do about it. Don't worry."

3 days had passed since Jb left for China for his photoshoot with GQ!  And they hadn't talked in 3 days.

It was sunday morning and Hei woke up early so she decided to get some breakfast from starbuck.

Hei went down her apartment early in the morning to get some coffee and breakfast for Mark, In and herself.

As soon as the elevator opened, the guard who was an Italian old man in his sixties probably greeted her.

"Good Morning Madam", he said in his accent smiling ever so brightly.

"Morning Alfred, how are you?"

"I'm fine thank you, but I don't think you'll be fine seeing that outside this early in the morning", he pointed towards the glass  through which she could see the paparazzi floating outside the building.

"Oh God not now!", she whined turning around and taking in a sharp breath.

"Being famous is tough.", the old man said smiling.

"It sure as hell is", she sighed and smiled pursing her lips, "Let's do this!", she looked ahead.

"All the best", the old man said behind her and she put her arm up showing a thumbs up sign.

I wasn't ready for this she mentally rolled her eyes but at least I dress right she wore her sunglasses and stepped outside the building where the paps swarmed her.

Mark had his arm around In-Ha and pulled her closer to him. She sighed sleepily. He kissed her neck making her turn around.

She slowly opened her eyes and looked at him for a moment before kissing him.

"Hey I haven't even brushed yet", he said surprised by the sudden morning kiss.

"It doesn't matter to me. I still love how you taste", she grinned and kissed him again making Mark smile.

"Gosh I missed you. I missed this so much!", he exclaimed and she smiled.
