Chapter-22: Gone With The Wind

"So this comes with a price", Lisa was brutally cynical by every move the man in front of her made.

She had her fair share of involvement with people like him, she wasn't new to this but he was the master of the game.

"They gave you a lot more attention than any other problems they had and I'm impressed the way you play your game", he crossed his hands across the table which had a veneer finish throwing the ancient roman vibes.

"What do you want me to do?" her eyes rooted at his every move, he was indeed a dangerous man

"I want you to take their mind off her for few weeks. Do anything but they should not meet", the authority in this voice made her quiver

"And what about him?"

"You can have him. I don't concern myself with lowlife", she clenched her fists at the sudden change in his tone and the disrespect he showed him but she stayed put.

Leaning towards him a little she spoke, "I want Jb and since you brought me out of this shithole, I'll help you since it's a win-win situation", shrugging her shoulders she said with a sly smile.

"You've no other option or i'll make sure your entertainment would be served at the best of my service."

A chill ran down her spine, "Like father like daughter", she spoke lowly and stood up and bowed with respect before walking away.

"After this you really won't forget me."

Hei and Jb were on their regular spot at night. Away from the hubbub of the city. Standing against the rails at the edge looking over the city.

"My mom wants to meet you", she suddenly spilled it out.

"What?", he was shocked to hear that.

"I mean she has already met you but she wants to meet you on a personal level and she asked me to invite your family over for dinner"

"What? Why?"

"She wants to apologise", Hei looked at him smiling, "for everything."

"Wow! Is this real?", he joked and Hei giggled.

"It is. She seems sincere", Hei said looking over the city.

"I'd love to meet your mother", Jb said bringing her face closer to him and kissing her.

"Thank you", she smiled against his lips.

"Tomorrow evening", she said pulling away from him as he whined.

"Okay", he said pulling her to him.

"6pm", she pulled away again and he picked her up making her sit on the bonnet of the car standing between her legs.

"I'll be there"

"Just let me kiss you", he said putting his hands under her t-shirt and she wrapped her arms around his neck.

I love him she smiled looking at him and kissed him again.

Jb was a sweating mess as his whole family went to The Kims

"Hey we're not taking your marriage proposal to their family. Stop fidgeting", Jinyoung whispered to him while nudging him a little.
