Shadows enveloped the village, choking the air. A little girl of 6, holding on a teddy bear by the arm watching people in black masks scavenging the villagers. Tears streamed like two rivers running down her face. She saw her mother and father being dragged out of their house, screaming and crying for their missing daughter. Their missing daughter is hiding behind an overturned stall while she clapped her hand over her mouth. Her eyes widened as one of the men sliced her father's head off with clean swipe from a long knife. Her mother screeched and struggled. The men laughed and stabbed her in the heart, leaving her choking on her own blood. The daughter looked around and saw a knife and grabbed it while the men started tearing off her mother's skin. She hid the knife behind her back and sneaked around rubble. She noticed one of the men walk off and discretely followed him until he stopped at a wheat mill. She stepped out and walked towards him, knife shining in her hand. He turned around only to find a knife, deep in his chest.

He stared at the knife before looking at the hand that connected to the 6 year old. He made eye contact and opened his mouth. Blood spilled from his mouth in a gusher. She yanked the knife and he crumbled. The men heard the commotion and rushed over. Little did they know, they too would soon fall, crumbled as thrown rag dolls. She dropped the knife and ran to her mother.

"MAMA" she yelled instantly kneeling down. She moved her mother's head from the ground onto her lap.

"You should run from here." Her mother gasped. Her mother's skin peeled where one can see the veins. Blood spilled everywhere on her body. She knew she won't be able to last long, but she wanted to let her daughter know she love her.

"I'm n-not going to l-last long, but i w-want to let you know i l-love you, my beautiful daughter." her mother raised her hand to rest her hand on her cheek. She grabbed her mother's hand and pressed it on her cheek.

"I love you too mama, please don't go." she begged

"Go and find happiness, my dear child." her mother whispered. Slowly her hand fell and she closed her eyes for the final sleep. The girl released a heart wrenching scream as the whole world caught on fire.

Anvil opens her eyes very slowly and looked around her surroundings. She is leaning against a tree and got up to stretch. She is standing in a lush green forest landing with trees circling around. 'i never get these flashbacks anymore, so why are they coming back.' before she could muse the answer, Victor comes back with an armload of supplies

"Morning sleeping beauty, I got us supplies from the nearest town." Victor explained while carefully putting the supplies down. she saw him grunt and he grabs his shoulder.

"How's the shoulder?" she asks moving to sort through the pile while he sits on a large boulder.

"Getting better, it just stings when I move it." he said while rubbing his shoulder. She snorts and said

"Sorry about that by the way, you just startled me is all." she explains

"No,no its my fault for following you."

"so we're even?" Anvil asks.

"Not yet, I'll consider it even if you tell me what's in your bag besides the essentials." Victor demanded

Anvil sighed "alright, I'll tell you but you must swear you will never ever mention this to anyone unless I allowed it" She gave him the death glare and he nodded

"I solemnly swear I will tell not a soul while I may still breath and while my heart is still beating" Victor swears while crossing his heart

Anvil released a heavy sigh of relief before grabbing a small purple pouch from her mystery bag. She sat down gesturing him to sit as well. Which he does, on a large rock.

"In this bag are items that represent each element: fire, air, water and earth. Each element has a ruler and they are special beings that are larger than life itself. There's the Water Goddess, the Fire Goddess, the Air God and the Earth God. They become mortals so that they can pass on their attributes but they don't take up multiple bed partners, they did this so that one of their children can one day take up the responsibility of the fate of the world." Anvil reveals the bag she clutches in her hand.

Pulling the drawstring, she reaches inside the bag and grabs each item one by one and setting them down on the ground. The first one she laid down is a metal ball of sorts, the next one is a teardrop container, the third is a gem that looks like crystal and is shaped as the earth, and the last one in a diamond shaped and inside it is a smaller diamond connected to the larger one what seems to be strings. The color of this diamond is clear and has a few cloud designs.

She went on to explain "All of these items must be given to the children once they show their powers to prove they are the ones needed." Anvil grabs the items and placed them back in the pouch, pulls the drawstring close and places it back in her bag.

"So we have to find four children of the Gods and Goddesses and give them their items and that's it? That's simple!" He exclaimed

"If only it were that easy" she mumbled. Out loud she said "My mission is to get these children one by one and take them to a temple designed for each element and once they master their elements, then they will have to free the world from danger." Anvil finished

"What danger?" Victor questioned. Anvil looked away, placing her hand on the ground. She looks up and stared at him. She takes a powerful long time to answer.

"That's just it, I don't know" Anvil answers with a sigh.
