You were best friends with Shinra for as long as you could think as his father was a doctor (a strange one at that) and you were neglected since you were born they decided to take  you in.

But you weren't normal, you were a land siren, singing to lure men and women (to their deaths hahaha jk) to you, you kept this a secret as you didnt know what would happen to you.

When you saw Celty you thought of her as a sister because she was like you, different, and you told her and begged her to kept it the truth away from shinra. Which she promised.

You were walking past Russia sushi thinking of the past and how things have changed.

Your love for Shinra.
His love for Celty.

When he fell in love with her you were the first to be told, it hurt but you managed to hide it very well to the point it doesn't affect you when you see how he acts around her.

"you look like you're deep in thought" a deep voice boomed next to you "I was" you reply looking at Simon close by handing out flyers. "you want some sushi, Shizu-chan" you smirk seeing his hands clench and unclench at your attempt to piss him off "sure why not" you pout at his calmness and he smiles knowing he pissed you off instead.

As you both sat down and ordered both blushing when Simon said 'discount for young couple' and laughed it off, you guys ate your food talking about small things. You felt happy it was nice talking to a friend for once until shizuo brought up something

"you haven't seen Shinra for a couple of weeks, something happen?" you growled at the name "we got into an arguement. Said he didn't want me to interfere with his and Celty's relationship so I left the house" you say not looking at him focusing on a piece of shizuo's sushi which looked good
" (y/n), where you staying?"
"small apartment near work"
"you're avoiding the- hey! don't eat my food"

You smile with puffy cheeks eating Shizuo's food somehow made it even more enjoyable. You continued chatting thankfull Shizuo dropped asking about you and Shinra.

You waved off Shizuo as you left Russia sushi walking home only to hear a motorbike and the sound of a horse. You groan walking into a small alleyway to avoid the black rider. "haven't your parents ever told you not to go into dark alleyways" a  voice says behind you, snapping back you try elbow them in the face only to fail.

"you're annoying go away" you state only to get a smile in response "aww (y/n)-chan that's no way to treat a friend"

"a friend that had me kidnapped how many times?" you glare at izaya really not in the mood of meeting everyone you know today. "I'm just interested in the way you act. Always so calm. Always so fearless" he smiled as he studies you intently, you pull out your phone having shizuo on speed dial

"yo, izaya is here two blocks from Russia sushi if you want to beat the sh-" you phone is taken away by the said man hearing in the distance "iiiizzzzaaayyaaaa"

"that was a very clever tactic" he admits putting your phone in his pocket "I'll keep in touch, (n/n)-chan see you soon" he waves and runs off as shizuo just shows up with a street pole and you point seeing him charging in the direction making you chuckle.

Pausing you look up

I wonder how they're doing without me there?  You thought smiling at the stars, not seeing celty in front of you until her typer came into view (dunno what's it called help meh)

I've been looking for you (got something I'm supposed to deliver-sorry)

You looked at her "I've noticed" and you walked off see followed on her bike

His been different since you've left

"Yeah his supposed to be I'm not in the way of your relationship remember"
You see her get angry at your stubbornness and stops typing.

"ah did you give-" suddenly shadows wrap around you and put you into her bike "untie me this instant celty!" you yell seeing that izaya was coming this way with shizuo noticing the commotion Izaya smiles as celty throws money at him you gasp "izaya! You little" celty put the helmet over your head and rode off.  You were going to kill izaya later no matter the consequences.

After being kidnapped for a while and riding hearing the horse sounds and trying to escape more than 16 times you arrived at the house left. Celty put you into the house and locked the door. You sigh as she went to somewhere and then to the kitchen.

You see a head pop out and you glare at it, "(y/n)'s here?" he asked only seeing you now "no shit" you growl seeing him smile "(y/n)-chan!" he shouts flying and running towards you as you dodge and he rams into the couch "don't. Touch. Me" you hiss as you walk to the door pushing and pulling trying to break it and celty looks at you.

"Why are you so cruel to me" he whimpers as you were about to yell you widen your eyes as him. He has sacks under his eyes his hair is unkempt, scratches and bruises everywhere you look at celty.

"I was attacked by a hired thug" he smiles sadly "I thought I was going to die" celty's smoke poofed in anger probably because she saved him "when?" you asked " a week after you left" he sighs as celty gave him tea and beakoned you over you stood your ground.

"before I passed out" he said absentmindedly "I was thinking of our fight" he was shaking "I haven't slept since then" your lip quivered as you saw how it affected him you caved and walked to him and sat next to him and he instantly hugged you and you slowly returned it.

"can I sing you a song? when we were younger you always ask if I could help you sleep with one" you offered and saw him smile and he moved to rest on your thighs and celty showed you her typer

You smile only to frown again "when you feel better I have to tell you something shinra, okay?" you saw celty panic but you mouthed it was fine and he hummed in agreement

You took a breath in

She was 19 with a baby on the way on the East Side of the city she was working every day cleaning dishes in the evening she could barely stay awake

She was clinging to the feeling that her luck was gonna change and cross town she would take the bus at night to one bedroom apartment and then she'd turn on the light she would sit down at the table tell hereself it's alright, she was waiting on the day that the baby would arrive

She'd never be alone, have someone to hold and when nights were cold she'd say
