Katsuka Heiwajima X Reader

You hummed walking around Ikebukuro shopping for new clothes and supplies for work until you bumped into someone.

"oh sorry" you say seeing then turn around "ah shizuo-San" you exclaim making him Tom and Varona he looks at you surprised "ne, isn't it (f/n)-chan" he smiles patting your head as you laugh "How've you been I haven't seen you since you worked as a bartender" you asked seeing  him frown "I lost the job thanks to that flea" he growled seeing you look at him "well I work as a bodyguard for him his name is-" "Tom, Tom Tanaka" he greeted and you bowed.

As you walked with them a bit talking about shizuo and how he's going great he asked a question "how's katsuka doing?" this made you silent and he noticed "what-" "he broke up with me" he was shocked at this. You laughed bitterly and smiled "well it's all in the past now, so leave it be. " so he did.

"(l/n)-chan, what work do you do" Varona asked with her strange Japanese making you look at her "ah well I mainly to designing of clothing or logos, it's good pay and I enjoy it" you say seeing her nod, when suddenly your phone rang thankfully Shizuo took some off your bags so you could grab your phone.

"hello?"
"miss (l/n)?"
"yes"
"I have a job offer for you at Jack-o-lantern Japan office in order to make a design for the new movie Yuhei Hanejima stars in, he told me your talented in this line off work, great I'll ll see you here at 7pm sharp"

Before you could even stutter a response he hung up making you groan "trouble" shizuo asked getting a little overprotective with you "no, looks like I'm going to met katsuka again" you smile nervously seeeing shizuo nod and give you your stuff back because you were heading another direction "Well then see ya, tell him I say hello" you nod and walk off.

You start walking to the office seeing it was 6:30 and would get there earlier so you ordered a coffee and waited in the waiting room. You close your eyes thinking of katsuka.

'Hey katsuka, rough day?' You asked as he came into your apartment he looks at you and nods,  he was silent a lot you knew this and didn't mind, you finished your dinner as he sat down with you staring past your head.

You looked at him concerned, 'are you-' 'I no longer want to be with you' you looked at him shocked and pained 'why' you asked voice breaking, he didn't answer as he began leaving 'leave the key' you said as he stopped to see you wrapping the food, losing your appetite. He left it on the key holder and walked off closing the door.

The next day you saw on television that he was apparently in a relationship with Ruri Hijiribe and that made you go into a isolation stage for a while but you managed to escape it.

"miss (l/n) the president is ready to see" you nod, leaving your bags in a secure area and took your pens and book with you ready to get with over with.

"ahhh miss (l/n) it's very nice to met you in person" the president gave you a strong wierd hug and let you go "I've been told your the best of the best" you laugh at him "not even close, but thank you for the opportunity" you bowed sitting down, ignoring the stares you got from Yuhei.

"so how may I help" you smile getting ready for writing or drawing the design "well we are having a new film realeased for the ninja vampire series! " he says with sparkles everywhere as you nod and write it down "another one ne, trying to keep an amazing series going" you smile seeing him enjoy the flattery.

As the meeting continues and he tells you what's envolved what the costumed colours and style need to be like, everyone was unaware of the actor looking at his ex-girlfriend with such attention remembering things you did for him, even if they were small he enjoyed them, even if he didn't show it.

"ah which reminds me youll need the symbol let me go fetch it" and with that's his gone leaving you and katsuka alone, he didn't know what to say, not that his a man of many words but he still wanted to say something "I saw shizuo-san today, he sends his love" you state going back to work.

"thanks......." he replies looking at the bracelet on your arm it was well designed "that's a nice bracelet" he murmers you look at him shocked and look at your  arm and smile "thanks (b/n) got it for my birthday last week" he nods, remembering that it was indeed your birthday last week.

The president came back with the thing he needed and gave it to you, and that concluded the meeting and for some reason he didn't want you to leave, "miss (l/n) can I offer you a ride home" Yuhei offered and the president said how romantic that is as you looked at him and said yes.

In the car you to sat by each window Yuhei looked at you and you looked at the city lights he decided to do something he always did.

You jumped a bit when you felt something in your lap, you nearly screamed when you saw katsuka head in your lap you bend down whispering "what are you doing!?" he looked at you "laying my head on your lap?" you deadpan at his straightforwardness sighing giving up you put your hand in his hair seeing him close his eyes, showing his enjoying that.

You sigh "even if I dated you, you sometimes never make sense" he looked up at you "maybe if you dated me again It would make sense" he stated with a small blush not visible in the night you laugh "you want another chance even though you ended it" you asked seeing him nod, you looked at him serious.

"how about dinner at my place after this whole thing is done, I'll invite shizuo" you offer and he shook his head "my brother doesn't have to be there, just you and me" he smiled

You smiled at him

I'm trying to experiment with different characters instead of just shizuo and izaya but please give an opinion or a request.
