The Dream

Chapter Four

I didn't know what to do now because the shadow didn't appear again after the toilet and dinner incident. It was like the shadow was just relief I came back to the barn and just like that, it disappears.

I stayed in the house the whole day but the others were at the outside playing the animals and taking care of them. I wasn't in the mood to do those activities when I'm this confused about that shadow. What were its true intensions to find me? It was like the shadow was desperate and wanted me to find out something immediately about my grandpapa after he died.

Now I was really confused, this doesn't make sense at all. I was so tired that I was confused and angry that I hit the wall of the house with my hands and suddenly a picture frame from the upper level came falling down and the glass of the picture frames were broken to pieces. I hurriedly went to the spot where the picture frame fall. I scolded myself for broking one of grandpapa's picture frames. He would have scolded me by now if he was still alive because those pictures in the picture frames were very important to him.

I went to the kitchen to find a broom to sweep away the broken pieces of glasses. I carefully removed the small pieces with my hands because it was too hard to sweep it away when I was doing that, I accidently had my fingers cut and blood were coming out of my finger. Luckily the cut wasn't deep; I cleaned the wounds with some hygiene liquid for wounds.

After cleaning my wound, I went back to the living room to continue to clean the mess I created. I squatted and took the frame and picture up from the floor. When I did that, a piece of paper dropped from the inside of the frame. I was curious what was it about so I putted the frame and picture onto the table and went back to the floor to pick up that paper.

I could know that the paper was very old because by the touch of the paper between my fingertips I could feel the quality of the paper was worn out for how many years it had been inside of the frame.

Before opening the paper, I went to the couch and had a sit before I opened it.

The paper wrote only a few words but it was still very clear to read although it was in the frame for how many years.

On the paper, it was written

William,

I wrote this after you were born. I chosen you to be the only one to know my past because I know you would help me because I loved you and you loved me. I know that I will never tell you my past when I was still alive. Instead I wrote a journal about my past. So when I'm gone you would be the one finding it and know my past because I never told your parents my past too. I know it wasn't fair for me to do that but it was the best. They would say things that I betrayed them or used them for all of the years. They wouldn't understand my heart and I will not let them understand it. Only you will understand and I know that you will help me eventually after reading this letter. When I'm dead, my soul will find you back to the barn and find the journal that I hidden, I will promise you I would appear in your dreams to tell you the reason that I didn't wanted to talk about my past. I will help you find the journal but by clues. I want to have some fun although I'm already dead. When you found the journal and before you open it. I want you to believe every word I wrote down there. Those words are very precious to me and I only wanted to share this to you because I know you would find some way to help me fulfill my wish and let me live in peace in the other world. The truth lies beneath those covers and I want you to believe every single word I've written in there and help me to fulfill my wish and I will promise you this, believe the truth and help me and a miracle will happen to you. A miracle will happen to you. Trust me, it will happen and the first clue of the journal is
