The Last Clue
Chapter Seven
After talking to my parents, I went upstairs to read the next clue. The clue paper said
"I'm small and skinny. I'm hidden it a vase that is long and tall. I can fit in a hole and turn it clockwise and this will make it open."
The first thing came into my mind was "A Key!" That must be it but where do I find a vase long and tall? I searched the entire house and found nothing. I was about to give up when I remembered grandpa's room cupboard had a vase in there and it was long and tall! I quickly ran to grandpa's room and opened the cupboard. The vase was there. I quickly took the vase out of there and shake the vase. There was something in the vase, I turned the vase upside down and a key dropped out. The key was tied with a paper. I placed the vase back inside the cupboard and closed the cupboard.
I went back to my room to open the paper and find the next clue. This time, the clue wasn't easy. It said
"I'm placed in a house that no human lives there. I'm big and red but not easy to detect. I'm hidden in a secret hole."
And it also said that this was the last step to where the journal is.
I thought and thought about the clue. The journal must be inside a chest and the chest is hidden in a secret hole but in a house that no human lives? Where could that be, an abandoned house?
I sighed slowly walked to the window and opened the shutters. The view from my room was the most incredible view I ever seen. I loved my room so much because of the view of outside of the house. I never get bored when seeing it. The trees surrounded the side of the house, making more fresh air to breathe. The birds would always be chirping on the trees. Love birds would always be together singing a love song. Horses in the stadium were running and chasing after each other; making it seem like their lovers.
Horses...
The stadium! The stadium was a place that no human lives but horses lives there! That's definitely the answer!
I ran down the stairs in a rush and went out to the stadium to find the secret hole where the journal is hidden there. I hope I'm right; it must be there where else can you hide a chest?
