Chapter 3 - Becoming Friends?

Later that day near sunset, Sonic was sitting under his tree, enjoying the nice breeze when Shadow was planting in his flower bed.

Sonics POV

... Wow who knew he was an gardener...

Maybe we got off on the wrong foot, I'm gonna try and talk to him

Sonic jumps out of the tree and walks towards Shadow's house

"Ahem"

Shadow looks at sonic

"What do you need faker...?"

!!! Keep your sonic... "uh.. I think we got off on the wrong foot, I wanna try and be friends or something..?"

"... Alright, I'm Shadow L. Hedgehog"

"I'm Sonic M. Hedgehog! Nice to meet ya!"

Shadow slightly smiles

"Do you need any help planting?"

"Um.... I'm good but thanks for asking"

Wow he has nice eyes...

"Well I'll see you later, maybe you would wanna go on a run with me?"

"...Sure sonic"

With that, Sonic walks back to his house happier then when he left, glad he made another friend.

NEXT DAY

Shadow's POV

I decided to go running with sonic, it's not like I had anything to do today anyway.

I go into my bathroom to wash my face and brush my teeth, I notice my fangs are showing more often than normal.

"I need to find a dentist.. I'll deal with that later"

I zip down the hall and make me some waffles with bananas on top, so good! >w<

After I eat I change clothes and grab a bottle of water and head out that door.

Sonic is waiting outside for him smiling big

"Hey shadz! Good morning"

"...Please don't call me that, and good morning"

"Cranky pants"

Sonic slightly giggles to himself

We start to jog off into the forest
